Five Plainview High School football players were named to the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Academic All-State team Wednesday.
Brian Switzenberg was voted to the Elite Team. Second-teamers were Roy Abanonu, Ethan Andrade and Marc Wallace. Daniel Ratliff was an honorable mention selection.
