Confession time: I’m not a fan of the term “__ to watch.” I mean, we’re going to watch a lot of football players this season, right? To me, players to watch doesn’t necessarily mean the best recruits in our area because you know those names and we’ve devoted a good amount of space to them already.
Rather, I think players to watch should include those who will be most valuable to their high school team. They might be coming off a big year or poised to have a breakout season, but make no mistake, this player will be THE GUY on his team.
With that being said, here are five quarterbacks to watch this year:
