Ohio State -3.5 v University of Texas
Colerain -8.5 v Tyler Lee
If this happens, should be lots of fun...I am assuming they will play the game at Columbus Crew (soccer) stadium, which kind of sucks as a football stadium, but it does seat around 20K

This game is the same day as the Ohio State v. Texas matchup that will be played at 8pm at the Horseshoe. So there should be alot of Texans in town.
Colerain loses alot, but they also return alot from thier undefeated State Championship team. They will be considered one of the top 2 or 3 teams in Ohio going into next season. They need to replace their record breaking QB who ran the option like he was born to do it. They also lose their star DT, Tyrell Byrd (Prep Nation Defensive player of the year, Cincinnati commit) and star TB Mister Simpson (U. Michigan commit).
They return a number of starting O-lineman including Conner Smith (Michigan and Ohio State offers on the table). Their top back will be Terrance Sherrer (around 9 yards per carry last season). On defense, Linebacker Cobrani Mixon and Tyler Moeller will lead the way. Both are DI caliber players.

This announcement was a big suprise as I haven't heard any talks about this potential matchup on the local Ohio boards.

To add to the above, Conner Smith is 6'6 300# 5.1, he was the best player on the field in last year's state title game IMO. Colerain also returns two other starters on the offensive line with good size from last year's team
As sehs mentioned, the other notables are ILB Mixon (6'2 220 4.6), who will likely end up at MeatChicken and safety Tyler Moeller (6'1 200 4.5) who has recieved a few MAC offers to date.

Tyler Lee to face Colerain in 2005
Here are the details!
Wow, pretty cool.
First thing that comes to mind...
What are Tyler Lee's travel cost going on the road to Ohio?
Is that Florida game home or away?

MeatChicken?
I noticed it was said the lost their "star TB" and return their "top back". Is Sherrer a FB? Do they run the triple option?

Rose Stadium is Tyler Lee's Home field, so yes, the FL game is a home game for them.

I should have said they lost thier star FULL back, Mister Simpson. Sherrer returns and was a TB. Regardless, all of Colerain's backs got plenty of carries as the Cardinals ran the ball about 95% of the time.

My understanding is that the travel expenses will be paid by the event coordinators. The Florida game will be a home game for Lee. That game will be played at Rose Stadium during the East Texas Kickoff Classic.
