I live on Hot Pockets for the longest time. Can't get enough of some of them. BUT, just about the time I was getting brave and thinking that there wasn't a kind of Hot Pocket that could possibly be bad, it happend. The Jalepeno, Steak, and Cheese ruined everything. The worst after tasting Hot Pocket I've ever tried, and now I'm trying anything to get that taste out of my mouth. Not to mention, my stomach hasn't stopped growling at me for eating it, and the first hint of burping brings back the flavor and makes me want to gag. :toilet: And what's worse, the smell of it, while it's cooking in the microwave smells like burnt Jalepenos and stings the nostrils badly. Especially if you stand close while it's cooking. Now, I can't get that smell out of my kitchen, and I just want to die. And it's a shame, cause the other Hot Pockets were on a roll. Now i'm going to have to eat healthy, cause I don't know if I'll ever look at another Hot Pocket the same way... :crying:

Bar BQ is the only one I'll eat. They would have to cut some cheese and sauce out of the peperonni one for me to try it again.

Some things just might not be meant for a 'wave and this paticular pocket sounds like one of them.

The thought of microwave food........ The only type of microwavable food that I eat right now is top ramon noodles. I know that once Im in college, my diet will consist of this: microwavable food, some more microwavable food, and microwavable food. Thats why I try to stay clear of that stuff right now.

To me hotpockets are too expensive so I stay away from them, but every once in a while they go on sale and the only ones that I buy are the barbeque. Microwaveable food is not all bad especially hot pockets or soup. Chunky soup is great and I think once a month Albertsons has it on sale for a dollar a can. Just stay away from the Baked Potato Steak and Cheese flavor.

Those rock! Personally I'd steer clear of the angus beef dinner. It didn't do anything for me except make me a little nauseous. When I get the hankerin for salisbury steak, I get the salisbury steak instead of the angus.

For microwave food, the Bar BQ isn't bad either.

BigB70, I work with a man who eats hot pockets for breakfast and lunch. I'm going to have to ask him if he has tried the jalapeno ones. Is there any chance you got hold of some bad ones? Maybe they thawed somewhere along the road and got restocked in oldkaty's store. Just kidding oldkaty, but still, maybe they were a bad package. It does happen..

Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets are great. And the Hungry Man 1-1/2 lb. meatloaf dinner packs a mighty punch. Of course I'm on a diet right now so I can't eat that stuff on a regular basis. That's what made me fat in the first place. But they sure are yummy. :cooldude:

Actually, I bought the Hungry Man dinners because I'm going on a diet... Well, if you knew what all I usually ate, you'd be proud of me too. :busted:

I don't think I got a hold of a bad batch. They were frozen, and I live two blocks away from the Wal-Mart Supercenter where I bought them from, so I don't think they thawed on the way home. The Jalepeno, Steak, and Cheese are part of their special "Mexican" style hot pockets. This all threw me for a loop becaue the Chicken Quesadilla ones were incredible. But these were horrible. :thumbsdwn:

And I'm a HUGE fan of the Salsbury steak Hungry Man's now. Awww.... That was the best lunch I've eaten out of the microwave in a while. For some reason that always makes the best microwave dinner. I'm going to try the Bar-B-Que one tommorrow. I also got the Meatloaf, cause, what can I say? I love Meatloaf. I got another kind that is some kind of Grilled Chicken in a cheese sauce, looked pretty good to a man who's been living of salads for the last two weeks... :fear2:
