I dunno about Hank Sr., but the sound of Hank Jr. makes me want to hang myself.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The sad thing is that his son, Hank III (not his real name, but changed it to capitalize on his dad and grandad's name) is even worse than Jr is. Understand that if you took Jr and III's music and compared it to Sr, III is going to sound more like Sr. My problem with III is III himself.

The guy is pure honky-tonk when he's doing country. But then he takes his hair out of it's ponytail and starts playing hardcore in the same shows. Heck, he's the bass player for Phil Anselmo's group Superjoint Ritual. Put that on your resume. "My bass player is the grandson of the probably the most famous Country & Western singer in the 20th and 21st century".

What I don't like about III, is that he's basically a scuzball. He only took up the name of Hank III because of his drug habit and alimony payments. IOW's cash in your grandad's name and make some money.

Bocephus played Beaumont's Ford Park with ZZ Top a few weeks back, and was drunk on his a$$ cursing like a sailor using MF this and MF that. No one that I know, enjoyed his being there.

Hank Sr really wasn't an angel himself, but it makes a person wonder if he's turning over in his grave looking at this son and grandson. :gee:

This is the worse song in the history of music. But it's on MTV so we all must be crazy because MTV only plays the best music.

I don't mind looking at J-Lo and Gwen Stefani  but I can't stand their music. Actually, I like Gwen's music with No Doubt...most of it anyway. It was proven this week that the vast majority of J-Lo songs only got played so much because the programmers were on the take from the record label. :lame:

While I like your sig, maybe for that post you should replace A&M with MTV. Just for this one brief moment in time.

Why did Maroon 5 go sissy after a couple of good hits in the past? Sunday Morning and Harder to Breathe come to mind. Now they're a bunch of girlie men.

The song in the six flags commercial. Not only is it from the worst genre of music,it's the most annoying song. It gets stuck in your head. It's like a bad dream...

Anyone heard the new System of a Down song:  "B.Y.O.B."  I know that band likes to be kind of "out there" but that song makes me want to drive into a ditch on the side of the road going 100mph everytime I hear it on the radio.  Down right awful...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

They have a "different" type of music. I personally enjoy their music.

And even if I didn't like it, I would respect them because they are doing something different, and doing what they like. Unlike many artists/bands that do the exact same as bands before have. I can't tell the difference between them.

I'll use Fall Out Boy as an example. Not my favorite group, but they have a unique sound and are creative in their music.

Speaking of bad music, how about Gwen Stefani's new one called "Holla Back Girl." Probably THE most annoying lyrics EVER.

Most of the mainstream music now-a-days is crap.

There are a lot of good bands out there though.

Back Door Slam. Blues band from England. Remember that name, because they are going to be BIG.
