hey i could get my # lol just playin
I heard theat also, but he is still playing basketball. Guess he could leave the team before school starts back next week. If he's leaving it would surprise me in that the Olivio offense should be much improved over last year. Still think it is a few years away from anyhting decent though. I did hear he was going just a short drive up hwy 26 and then a slight left on 114.

I think it's fact and your right he is going to SLC I also hate to see him go ....but it's time for other players to step up and be counted like mustang21 your number is open. Maybe with a few breaks and hard work the raiders will get to see him again.

Just that it's sad. I wish Bell could be the kind of school that attracted move-ins. I know, I know they're the "cross town rivals," but I have connections at/around Bell.
I think the only that winning, fan support, great school support makes all the difference in the world like you have at Trinity and TrojanHawgFan. Bell has a good chance this year because it's not all the time that you have the STATE CHAMPION and a district foe and a cross town rival game to play. Now that's a game I will pay money to see. The biggest game of the year for Bell just get bigger.

LD Bell USED to be the school that attracted move ins, just not the case anymore.. The big difference that I know of between Trinity and Bell is school pride and spirit. TRINITY HATES BELL AND DOES NOT SHY AWAY FROM SHOWING IT. The teachers, students , Hell even the lunch ladies wear Bell sucks shirts, Beat Bell and other shirts. Bell students are not allowed to do this and it has created a "underdog" thought process. The administration at Bell believes the school is above this type of "spirit", while Trinity supports it. Trinity wants to beat Bell no matter what they are doing. It makes no difference if it's tiddly winks or football, they HATE Bell and don't mind showing it. bell students are reminded that Trinity is a district school and that negative sportmanship( if that's the right word) will not be tolerated or supported. I'm not saying tht Trinity is disrespectful, they just know what a cross town rivalry is and they are encouraged by their adminstrators on campus to carr it out. Bell has no swagger left, maybe we can get it back and atleast make the Trinity Bell game what it used to be. No offense to any student or athlete at Bell, just the facts now a days.

I know that the Trinity folks don't want to hear any excuses over the helmet inicdent, and I was one who was PISSED watching it take place, in talking with several people in and around the helmet, the players really did just not notice the timing. They were not trying to show up Trinity during the alma mater. The Linebacker that ran over to the sideline and taunted the Trinity players definitely was and I can't believe Trinity players didn't retaliate.....but that's another story.
I have been in and around that helmet and there is a lot of noise and distractions. The years that I was involved in it, we always had someone standing in front to try and time the exit of players. For whatever reason the players mistimed it, but I know in my heart they didn't do it on purpose during the Trinity school song. This is not meant to bring up any old wounds, but seriously it was an accident. The Bell fans are so used to blowing their horns when the boys run out, I'm sure that was also mistimed. They will say "so What" the Trinity kids spit on the players and so on, but one does not condone the other. It was simply an accident.............NOW THE MOTORCYCLES A FEW YEARS BACK WAS CLASSIC AND IT COMPLETELY HUSHED THE TRINITY STANDS.....OF COURSE WE STILL LOST, BUT WE WON THE PREGAME !!![color=#3366FF]

I didn't bring it up in a serious manner, please note the winking smiley face after my first post. Also, the rotflmao to the reply by bellblueraider. I think by the time we lost to SGP we had already forgotten about the whole thing. And winning state helped heal any harsh feelings we may have had. You are right, the whole motorcycle thing was pretty darn cool. I believe that was the year I was subbing at Bell on a long term assignment and forced my wife to sit with me on the Bell side. She still brings that up to this day!I know that the Trinity folks don't want to hear any excuses over the helmet inicdent, and I was one who was PISSED watching it take place, in talking with several people in and around the helmet, the players really did just not notice the timing. If you like motorcycles I guess you would think so. Truth is Bell is not lilly white and neither is Trinity. I could give you one that Bell did in the 82 season that would curl your hair. But that was then and this is now. It is school spirit as you say and as adults we have to realize that supervision is always needed to curtail problems when Bell/ET meet. Know one is thinking about last year anymore. We are excited about a new season and hopefully we will both have a great season. Good luck
