It's not 15-30
No , but it is 22-32 at this point in the season. Last 13 games they have been outscored 80-21. Earlier in the season, pitching was doing well with no hitting. Now we have no hitting/offense and pitching has tanked as of late other than Roy O and Sampson hasn't been bad either. Why doesn't Garner let Loretta start everyday somewhere. Had 4 hits on Thursday, then on Friday, back to the bench. Ridiculous! I know Berk will get straightened out and eventually start hitting which will help immensely. If not for Lee, I can't imagine how many games the Stros would be out. I think we may be in for a long season.

Astros should be Top 10 in hitting with the players they have (Lee, Berkman, Pence, Biggio, Scott). They'll get it together. Hopefully it won't be too late

I hope you are right Carter, I just don't see a late season run this year.

I'm beginning to agree with you.
This team is not playing like it is capable of.

Hopefully last night was the beginning of something good.
I hope you are right. I'd at least like the Astros to finish around .500 this season.

If they play thier best from now until the end of the season, they can make the playoffs. but one more losing stretch and it will be over.

It's time to start making the long climb in the wild card race.

Another walk off homerun.
It's time to start making the long climb in the wild card race.
Another good win, hopefully they can keep it up. It would be nice if they challenged for the wild card in the second half of the season.

relievers have gone from the best to challenging for the worst in only 2 years.

IF they had ANY bullpen success, they'd be right in the middle of the wildcard race. Hard to believe the
relievers have gone from the best to challenging for the worst in only 2 years.
Thats what happens when you let Dotel and Wagner go. Your middle relievers aren't ready to pitch the 7th and 8th inning. Lidge started out good as a closer, but he has lost something. Lot of relievers who should be playing for the Astros instead of who they have: Brandon Puffer, Nate Bland, Kirk Saarloos, Pete Munro. Those guys fit in with the team. Moehler, Miller, Borkowski, none of them fit in.
