Early gets their season opener win over Comanche...How did the rest of 6-2a fair in their openers ??

What was the score. How many girls are still out due to BB.
11-10
We are missing 4 starters from last years squad...I guess they will join us on Monday. We are suppose to go to Cisco Tuesday but not sure how that will play out if our boys basketball advance after tonight. Dang I hope the weather allows us to play out the tournament next weekend.

I thought Early might have 4 to 6 players out at this time. At this moment the forecast is nice weather. I believe that would be a first for this tournament! Hopefully, it will turn out this way but if history repeats itself.............BAD WEATHER is headed this way beginning Thursday! I just know the Bluekatts need GAMES!! To date we have played no scrimmages and only a 30 minute game!
You are correct about the weather.
I sure hated to see our girls lose last night but I am excited about getting the other girls back in a softball uniform.
I think traditionally softball is slow getting started in these parts but it will be well worth the wait come district time. I am anxious to see what Wall and Grape Creek have to offer..I am sure it will be like the rest of the athletics in this district..Competetive till the end !!!
I see where Cahoma and Hawley are ranked 4 and 5. It will be a rough rode to get thru this region..

I guess Hawley should be ranked with all the players they have returning from last years squad however the Katts faced them twice last year and took care of them both times. PeeWee is a good pitcher but not dominating and Ms. Cobb is a very good player who has a GREAT bat but other than those two it is my opinion they are an average team. Hope the Katts get to face them before district but I doubt it as we do not have any games scheduled!!!!
Are you suggesting, had the Katts took 3rd in district instead of 2nd last year, they would have gone on to the regional finals to face Cahoma ?
