Below is a highlight video of Arkansas' #1 Overall team in 2006, Shiloh Christian, taking on Texas' #1 private school program. SC blew away Prestonwood 45-17 in Week 1 of the 2006 season. Any thoughts on the '07 game in Springdale?

Shiloh is obviously a good team and the video is impressive but PC is by NO means "Texas' #1 private school program." When they won the TAPPS State Championship in 2005 it was in Class 3, the second smallest of the four 11-man classifications. They had a respectable year in Class 2 this year before getting blown out in the second round of the playoffs. I don't expect them to do that well this year as they are losing most of their skill position players and didn't look to have much depth there. We will see what kind of help they can bring in but I imagine it will be a long trip to and from Springdale this fall. Good luck to Shiloh!

That is how the 2006 game was billed. Arkansas' #1 private school vs. Texas' #1 private school. From the people we talked to at a Fort Worth Christian game and in the Dallas area seem to think Prestonwood is indeed the best PROGRAM in TAPPS right now. They definitely weren't the best team last year. However, they may have repeated if the Saints hadn't put a season ending knee injury on superstar QB Will Norris midway through the 3rd quarter in Week 1.

Shiloh is not only Arkansas' #1 private school program, see the Saints play in public school league in Arkansas. SC finished #1 Overall in the state for 2006, and #9 in the SW region of U.S. They sent 11 players to college ball off the 2006 squad.
