Lorenzo you mavs fans act like you swept out last year, instead of the series going 7 and game 7 being close the whole time.I don't fear the Mavs.We beat the MAvs plenty over the years in the season and playoffs. Besides I want my SPURS to play the best on their way to the title, that way their is no ifs, ands, or buts about who the best team is.you are smiling because you fear the mavs and they are gone. i would have been smiling last year if the spurs lost in the first round. I am upset the mavs lost, but it's clear they wern't the team we thought they were. They will be back.

true that. whatever it was......however you want to put it........the mavs got punked by the warriors. that was humiliating.I guess what i was trying to say is Golden State was not afraid to slap the Mavs, becasue the Mavs did not respond back and slap GS back, but you phrased it better, thanks

you mavs fans???whats that supposed to mean? are we being stereotypical here? If we want to go there......i remember when the spurs fans were crying after their loss blaming the refs for the loss. When they fail to realize that the mavs built a 20 pt lead on the road. also that the mavs beat up on the spurs in OT as diop outplayed duncan. they also blamed the refs chanting B.S. when the mavs punked the spurs by 20 in game 2. They also failed to realize that the refs missed a call in game 5 when parker had a tug on dirk's jersey as he tried to put back a rebound at the buzzer.........that would have ended it then and there. but of corse you hear all about the no-call in game 7. either way.....i'm not a moron. i'm just venting. i know that the mavs were only slightly the better team. that was the case this year as well. i know having avery around gives us an advantage as well. I agree about the best team philosophy. that's why i wanted dallas to play GS in round 1....so we could squash that b.s. once and for all. but it's pretty clear that matchups are a S.O.B. when it comes to the NBA. Dallas would probably rather play the spurs in the first round if given the choice between them and the warriors in retrospect. The suns would also rather play the mavs in the second round than playing the spurs. the spurs would probably rather play anyone other than dallas. but at the end of the day.....we all want to see the best teams duke it out. and since the mavs are done we won't get to see another 7 games between the spurs and mavs.Lorenzo you mavs fans act like you swept out last year, instead of the series going 7 and game 7 being close the whole time.I don't fear the Mavs.We beat the MAvs plenty over the years in the season and playoffs. you bring up some good points. with the way jackson conducted himself after game 2 you would think coupled with another ejection in game 5 that he would have been suspended......especially with the way stern has ruled with an iron fist untill it comes to a guy playing against dallas. not that jackson has a history of beating up fans and getting into shootouts at nightclubs either. jackson had something to say to the refs after every call......so i am sure that had something to do with the refs short fuse in game 5. I didn't see the barnes foul, but if they suspended kobe 2wice this year and stack in the finals last year.......then they can suspend anyone at anytime they please. it's funny how stack fouls a guy in a rough fasion who is 8 inches taller and 200 pounds heavier and it gets him a suspension. in the finals to say the least. but shaq goes on abusing guys all season long(worse than his best friend kobe ever does) and he doesn't even get called for fouls. he elbows dirk in the face going for a rebound. he elbows stack in the nose, causing blood to flow........and nothing. i'm not venting or anything.Early in this thread there was much made about the Mavs losing to a number 8 sede. I don't buy that line because this GS team wasn't assembled until right around the trade deadline. They have one of the best records in the NBA since early March. They are literally not the same team they were at the beginning of the season. I love the Mavs and I always will. What I liked about this years team is that Mr. C quit complaining about the refs and let Avery lead the team. I believe that was effective. A few things that frustrated me about game 6: 1) Dirk drove in game 5 = we won, where did that go? 2) Everything the Warriors shot went in from everywhere on the floor, the Mavs couldn't buy a bucket 3) Talk about whiners, Cro gets a little rough while going for the ball and Baron has to get up and get in his face about it? Then Cro gets a tech for the incident! 4) Matt Barnes not only looks like he belongs in a punk rock band, he also acts like a punk - AND gets away with it. That flagrant he committed against Mo; hello where is the suspension? Stack got one and JET got one last year. And what about pegging JET with the ball to save it from going out of bounds on him? This is basketball, not dodgeball...and unbelievably, no foul.
That's what ate my shorts about game 6 and really the whole series.
as far as the warriors. they just outplayed dallas from start to finish. It didn't help that baron davis who is a 30% three point shooter couldn't miss a one legged shot from 3 or half court. also that jackson, a guy who missed shots after shots with the pacers, couldn't miss either. I can't see the warriors winning with that type of nellie ball for much longer, but kudos to them. baron davis and richardson are probably the toughest guards to matchup with in the nba.

I don't think the warriors can keep making those 3's. once they go cold from the outside they're done........especially against a team like the spurs or suns that will score inside(what the mavs didn't do).The way the Warriors played the Mavs, I could see them beating the Jazz and going to dismantle the Suns/Spurs only AFTER they get done beating up on eachother. My pick for the finals - Pistons over Warriors in 6.

You are correct they did get PUNKED, very humiliating, since the Warriors were an 8th seed.

well the warriors are one of the best 8th seeds in a while. you see how well they played the jazz last night as well. if they shoot like they did against the mavs they can beat anyone, especially those fluke shots. but that won't continue IMO. I seriously doubt they can beat a team like the spurs unless they shoot like that all of the time. they may be able to duke it out with phoenix, but they better hope their shots are falling. phoenix has plan B when they go cold. You are correct they did get PUNKED, very humiliating, since the Warriors were an 8th seed.

ALl I am saying is that everytime A MAV fan brngs up lat year they act like they swept us and dumped up by 40 every game , which clearly was not the case. AANyway if the Mavs had played us in the first round they would have lost horribly if they played like they did against the Warriorsyou mavs fans???whats that supposed to mean? are we being stereotypical here? U hit the nail right on the head. They went cold and now they are at the house .I don't think the warriors can keep making those 3's. once they go cold from the outside they're done........especially against a team like the spurs or suns that will score inside(what the mavs didn't do).

i agree with that if the mavs played that poorly. although if the mavs played the spurs in the first round........i think things would have been different. I am not saying we would have surely beaten them or that we are better than S.A. now. I'm just looking at how the mavs have played GS head to head........and how the mavs have played the spurs head to head. either way.......there is no doubt dallas will be back to give the spurs and their fans all the headaches again.ALl I am saying is that everytime A MAV fan brngs up lat year they act like they swept us and dumped up by 40 every game , which clearly was not the case.
