Mayweather will be quick but Oscar has a solid chin, Don't think Mayweather has ever been hit like he is about to get hit, so I will go with De La Hoya with a TKO in the seventh!! I think I will watch the fight tonight, should be a great one.

Should be a great fight if Oscar does not have chase Mayweather around all night long. I now that some of you will say if Mayweather runs all night he is a true boxer and will win, but I think if he fights like a man he will get knocked out by Oscar. I will watch the fight!!

You Said it best, Mayweather talked about how he was gonna do this and gonna do that, then he runs around the ring basically throwing one punch at a time to just score and not fight like a man. He knew when Oscar hit him that he couldn't trade blows with him. Mayweather said his fight plan was to go in the ring and fight him toe to toe, that went out the window as soon as Oscar jacked his jaw in the second round. Oh well, the fight was good but the first fight on the card was the best. Them two guys beat the crap out of each other and it was a great fight.

The first fight was great, but what happened to the best fighter in the world pound for pound..I was very disappointed that he has everyone believeing that he is the best when he runs all of the time. I knew that once he was hit by Oscar he would put on his running shoes and not stop until the end.

I guess boxing is not the best fighting sport anymore some of these guys just won't fight. I guess that is why exteme fighting is becoming the best action...

VERY DISAPPOINTED, it is like having the best football team and you just kick a field goal, and play defense all of the time....

They put to much emphasis on the scoring in boxing, they need to look at who brought the fight to who more, I think the sport is being tainted with how many times each fighter touches the other fighter. Mayweather backed De La Hoya up a couple of times but they could fight 100 times and Mayweather would never knock that guy out. De La Hoya could knock him out but would probably would have to catch him first because Mayweather knew he couldn't take those blows standing toe to toe. Mayweather was the better scorer but I don't believe he was the better boxer in the ring. De La Hoya has allot of heart, I bet we see him again.

Well said, boxing has lost its luster, because it has become the hit and run game. Ali was great he would hit and dance, but the modern guys have changed the style to hit and run and hide. To bad boxing was great at one time. I just dont know why the fans pay so much including myself to watch hahaha i guess i am part of the problem. :blahblah1:

I don't think he quite at all, got really tired of running after the other guy but didn't ever quite. How's Cotulla looking this year by the way? Who beat you guys last year in the playoffs?

I hope you guys can get there again this year. Littlefield represented the area real well last year and so did we (Frenship). I hope we get back to the semi's and go to state this year and win it, but we may have a tough road again this year Waco kinda put it to us in the semi's last year, and they are loaded again this year.
