I am goin' for 2500, atleast.

Suepr B's stats are tanited anyways. When the site crashed in September, everyone lost all their post counts, except Super B. :P IF I had not lost mine, I woul;d have over 2000. But oh well, it dosen't realy matter.

I am hoping to catch up to B by the 2005 season. ;)

I believe that I have lost somewhere close to 1200 posts from elimination through various down periods.

Post have been lost perhaps, but other than the huge crash in September, post counts on your profile have not gone down.

I voted 5,000 +. I figured since it is only March and I have almost 3,500 right now, getting another 1,500 in 5 months will be easy. I will be going on vacation in May & June though, so I won't be around for a couple of weeks during that time.

Do the "Word Association" Posts count? If so, that is where a great number of the posts come from. They obviously should not count.

The difference is that when the board went down....many moons ago... everyone lost their posts... Super B came back up with nearly ...1,000 - 2,000 posts..... everyone else started over at ZERO....

His count is high... he had a head start.... and he is on here 12 hours a day!!!

LOL

Who is counting? What's the prize? Maybe the one with the most posts has the largest amount of free time. Should we HANDICAP these posts? WHo am I? What am I doing here? By the way What Is a Post? Do posts made before 8AM count?

Well exporter I'll try to answer those as best I can...

1) The computer counts the posts, lol, i dont know what you mean
2) There is no prize, just recognition.
3) Why handicap posts? Everyone has equal opportunity
4) You're on here because you are a fan of TX HS Football, like everyone else.
5) A post is a comment, question, article, or statement that is made on a thread by a single person
6) There are no set times to post.

Haha, did I help you out?

Apparently, you all did not read the thread entitled, ALL POSTERS PLEASE READ, Why the changes?. It said the following:

Sep 18 2003, 06:13 AM

Fellow Posters here is why the changes are being made:

I realize that the board's popularity has excelled far beyond my expectations so I have had to sacrifice the short term problems and errors of the board to start fresh and get rid of the errors and issues so that in the long term and beyond we may enjoy the board without trouble. It only makes perfect sense to make this change for the better. I tried to transfer all the members to the new board as the errors and registratioin was tested in the process. The errors still existed. So I have had no choice but to make the move to start fresh once again. Please re-register for the boards and we will be back to the norm as fast as possible. As far as your user count goes, if you remember your count, I am more than willing to adjust the count for you. Please PM me or e-mail me your post count.

For all Official boards and partner websites, please update your links to the new forum links. And your moderation will be restored quickly.

Thanks for your understanding and I truly apologize for the inconvience. Nobody is more frustrated than myself.

Sincerely,
Christopher Lyke
Chief Editor, TexasHSFootball.com
webteam@texashsfootball.com

To my knowledge I am the only member who PM'd my post count to Christopher Lyke. I told him 550. He restored my post count to 450 not 1,000-2,000 like MrHawk2U suggest. Prior to the board crashing, I had recently overtaken Warlok & Commishioner for the highest post count. Everyone of you who were on the board prior to 9/18/03 had the opportunity to have your post count restored. Apparently I was the only one who read the messge completely or at all. Or I am the only one who bothered to PM the Commishioner with my post count, you can ask him about that.

BTW, aside from enjoying the "celebrity status", I am not just here to win the post count battle. I'm here like the rest of you, cause I love HS football. This has become my favorite message board. I work all day on the internet. That means 40 hours a week at work + whatever time at home, maybe another 10 throughout the week. Believe me, my time at home on the internet is minimal. If you guys were on this board 50 or more hours a week, you'd probably have just as many or more post than I do.
