Coach Schlentz of the eastland ducks,er mavericks found out over the summer that two of his two-way starters,
Chad Klein and Clinton Oliver, both key players and team leaders would be transferring to the Gorman Panthers!!!
Will this help the Panthers?????

I think these two boys will help out tremendously. Using them as TE's and blocking on this type of offense. Also adding to the core of athletes what they have on defense already. This can only help Gorman!! Expect them to be the top in this area and close to competing with the best in state....That's speaking very high of them but knowing what they have, Gorman will go a long way!!

Go Panthers :D

The Panthers gave yet another team a sound thumping when they traveled to Fredericksburg to meet up with Ben Bolt. Final score was 42-6. Great start for the Panthers at 3-0 so far this season. Congrats Panthers!

The Panthers looked good saturday. Defensive secondary was a little shakey in the beginning; but they came together and played a great game in the second half. Great job Panthers!

He did a great job in the second half CCFan! I think they learned a great deal saturday. A good pass defense will be important as the season goes on.

Greetings 1A and Gorman fans. The reason Gorman will compete is their coach Paul Talbert. We had him in Comfort 3 years ago and when he was here we were very competive. He is a hell of a coach. Some of the parents thought he was to tough on the kids but they performed. We have three from his last year here in Comfort playing for 1-A Colleges right now. Coach Talbert not only has a good system, he develops players early so that when they get to varsity they are ready to compete for state.
Good luck
