NB 15
DV 8
1ST QTR. NB scores first on a interception near DV's 30 yrd. line and runs it in for the TD.
DV-0 NB-7
2ND QTR. Then NB has the ball on a 4th and long at near the 30 yrd. line, the snap is low and the punter cannot handle the ball,
DV recovers the ball around the 7 yd. line (DV PLAYER IS MY SON #84 WITH THE FUMBLE RECOVERY) DV is able to drive in and score, then on the extra point, DV pulls out a trick play, kick holder tosses the ball to a player, looks like he will run it in, then stops to throw the ball in the endzone, DV player is open for the 2pt coversion.
DV-8 NB-7
then with less then 2 minutes, NB fumbles again and DV recovers, DV drives and throws a last second hell mary, int as time expires at halftime.
3rd QTR.....Alot of defense between both teams, offensive are trying, NB has the last drive and throws a 30+ yd. pass
down to the 2 yd. line as time runs out.
4TH QTR......NB is able to run the ball in for the TD and goes for the 2pt. coversion.
DV-8 NB-15.
With DV defense stopping NB on their last drive of the qtr., NB punts the ball and it rolls
all the way back inside the 10 yrd line.
With less than 15 parents in the stands, we rallied them with spirit as best as we could.
Less than 2 minutes in the game DV makes a late drive all the way down to the 21 yd. line, with 4th down and 1 yrd,
NB stops DV on downs....game over.
As I sat there in the stands looking at NB's JV with over 70+ players and very big boys playing against DV's 30+ players and medium size boys, I can be pride of DV hard fought game.
NB was able to put in fresh players, DV only can play with what we have, no fresh players.
But hats off to both teams on a very good and hard fought game, could be of what's to come in the future.
as for the freshmen teams...NB A & B teams beat DV. 27-0 & 34-0. CONGRATS TO NB.

Freshman A team won also not sure about the B team ....Collen Gizzi had a 102 yard interception return on a extra point try which was only worth 2 points but it sealed the game win..........Great job !
JV looked great ...on both sides of the ball
Offensive it looked liked they had running and passing under control....!
we had touchdowns by #8 C.Harmon #44 K. Segura # 48 B.Lamoine.# 84 K. Wiggins
Defensive # 66 D.Girolamo and #69 B. Patten( were punishing the running game and Qb) and our linbackers and back field were crushing any attemps at anything else they threw at us... with most of the Seniors playing Defense for Varsity this year . PNG looks like they will continue to dominate on defense in the years to come!
Everyone played last night and was solid all of the way through .our JV depth looks good! #20 ,#54 ,#55 ,#57 ,#65 ,#34 ,#31 all stood out !
#11 got hurt looked kinda of bad Don't know, good luck to him,,,,,, Great Job
If any one else wants to ad names and #s it would be great ! I will try to get a roster ! Good Luck Against Nederland next week!

Any word on JV game tonight?
Well, Nederland pulled it out at the end and won 22-21. Great game played by all. I came in late in 1st quarter and each had already scored. Offensively Raggio looked good, scored at least once, Harmon was pounding out the yardage, and Segura was also in for a score. 84 had a good run as well as 31 caught a beautiful pass. Defense looked super. B. Lemoine had a great defensive showing tonight. Our entire defensive line played their hearts out, 66-Giralamo was in on several 2nd half tackles, 69-Patin, 55-Parks and 32-Mendoza, played hard(wish I had all the defense numbers/names) actually the entire team did. Great game JV. If anyone has other names or numbers, please add them. I don't want to leave anyone out.

well, PNG JV was off this week due to Vidor not having enough players for a game. Looking forward to a W against Central Jags. this week. Central is suppose to be fast, but our defense has repeatedly shut down runners. Should be a good game.
