I haven't seen cove play this year. But I did see Aledo play this last weekend.

Cove is my Alma Matter (C O 85) so I have some bias. but Cove should win this one hands down. Aledo has a good team but after watching the Frendship game they have 1 threat. He is a stud and the young men do work together and they play hard for 48 minutes. But I think they will have trouble with Cove if they are as speedy as folks seem to say they are.

I know that Copperas Cove has a very potent offensive attack. I don't see how that score could even be possible. Aledo is good, but from what I've heard they have their work cut out for them this week. They'll want revenge from last year, but I just don't see it.

What? I think someone is full of themselves- Aledo has never showed up to a game and "Lay Down"- they have always played their butts off- There have been days where nothing seems to go their way, Which by the way happened with ya'll last year. But never have they even close to doing something like that - Shame on you for even saying that!

To bearcatpatches, DFFL never said Aledo would lay down he said Aledo WON'T show up and lay down. Both teams will come to play and in the end Coves speed will be too much. I predict 38-24 Cove. It'll be something like 17-17 at half

The game got away from them last year, but they went all out.
And the one thing that I was truly impressed with was that as soon as the clock read 0:00, they lined up at the 50 yard line to shake hands.

I agree. Aledo is a class act, unlike some of the other programs Cove has faced. Hopefully this game will be injury free, no unsportsmanlike conduct, and no ejections.
