Yes, you will see a show.
A first-class show of what Cove is like. Griffin and Vital will blow your defense to shreds.
LC's offense really hasn't scored that much this year. You guys beat Austin LBJ by 3 points in OT, 17-14. LOL.
Your RB will get his yards, score 3 TD's and Cove will romp over you guys something like 42-21.

Did Cove play Austin LBJ this year? If not than what's your point?
Cove has not faced a defense this fast ever. They will be on the QB or RB
at the snap of the ball. They will pick the WR apart. Can't wait to see this one.

Cove fans: please don't dignify this stuff with a response.

Let them do the talking. We'll see who's ready to go on Saturday night.

I love this. You have no idea what you're talking about. But I guess that's why they call it smack talk.

Anyways, I hope what you say is true because if they're at the QB or Rb at the snap of the ball, there will be a penalty on LC on every Cove offensive snap.

It still baffles me how Midway was able to put up 42 points against Cove.

We had HUGE breakdowns in special teams that night. Once they started, some of our kids freaked out, and it kind of snowballed.

Ever since that game, our kicking game has been a strong point of our team. It has been outstanding the last two weeks!

Tell me about it. It was the classic trap game for Cove. I guess we're all entitled to have one. Anyways, it doesn't matter now.

I am so proud of our Mustangs. They have worked and played their best all season long. As I am sure that the Copperas Cove's player have. I guess the one thing that separates the Mustangs at this point is respect. Copperas Cove has respect. They are a force. They have been to the big game last year. Lamar has had to fight to earn the respect of other teams, and other coaches with every play of every game. They deserve to be in this game. We Mustangs fans will drive the 3 hours to Round Rock, many of us with their young kids in tow, and by the sound of it, we will be surrounded by the other teams fans. That's ok with us. It's going to be a David verses Goliath game.....and what a game it will be! It's too bad that no one could settle on a neutral field.

This is neutral for the 4 teams that remained, they didnt choose it for just one team. Think about it. If it was Cove-NB thats about halfway, RR was the best place for Aledo-NB(maybe Waco) and the Aledo-LC woulda been perfect in Austin. They made it the most neutral site for the 4 teams. I wouldnt have mind going back down to the A-Dome, Cove has some unfinished business to take outta LC. Lets GO DAWGS!!!!

I predict Cove to really come to play and get the crown this time.

Cove 34
LC 17
(This coming from a Waco High Lion)

LC acts if Cove hasnt played a fast team all year. Uh isnt Waco in our district? And JTJ is a fast team as well. Should be a good one. I see a score of something like Cove-42 LC-28

Finally a sane LC poster.
Most of us Cove fans expected to play LC last year in the championship game. It surprised us that Alamo Heights won. Of course, they beat us also, but we still feel we should have won that game.
Believe me, we have nothing but respect for LC and Rodgers. Probably one of the best running backs in the history of Texas HS football.
This is a neutral field - all 4 coaches of the teams in the semis agreed to it before the semis were even played. Granted, it's closer to Copperas Cove than Rosenberg, but last year the Alamodome was 2-1/2 hrs from Cove and 10 minutes from Alamo Heights.

It won't matter where it's at LC travel's very well. Their fans will be there in full force.

I hope they pack the place. I know Cove will.
Nothing worse than going to a game and seeing the opposing team with about 100 fans there. I don't care if you have to travel 300 miles - you need to support your team.
When we played Waco University, in Waco, this year they had 63 fans there. I counted them.

Cove played University at home this year. That sounds about right for the Dallas Samuell crowd though.

University barley has more in their band than they do on the football field.

I can hardly wait til Saturday. As i said last week, after the game the boards will get quiet for one team as their fans will pack up shop until training camp opens next year.

As a 1984 grad of Lamar Consolidated I am very excited about this game. Our school has obviously never been this deep into the playoffs.
I would like to extend my best wishes to the Cove fans and their team as well.

I honestly dont know much about Copperas Cove other than I do know ya'll have a great QB.

'Course you all have heard about our star, Rodgers.

It's gonna be fun. My wife and I are actually looking forward to the road trip, getting there early, and doing a little tailgating with some long lost alumns.

I can tell you this, last Saturday night against NB was the craziest emotional roller coaster I've been a part of at any football game.

Good luck to both teams, and fans, it's been a great year.

Oh, and GO STANGS!
