The "trash talk" comment wasn't directed at you, just the "play nice" one. It was in response to some pretty heated words from the Everman folks. I'm disappointed you thought we'd need overtime to beat a one horse team like Everman, but I like your prediction this time. You should come to the game.

Well man I thought Everman was battle tested because of their games against Stephenville and Rider. But boy was I wrong. Ya'll should have little trouble with Lake Travis . You guys have already seen 3 defenses better than theirs in the playoffs so I just feel it will get ugly for them. Where is the game at . I might try and make it.

Lay off of TopRow rsh62. She's only trying to lighten up the mood . Do you really have a problem with Kwanzaa or is saying happy Kwanzaa now somehow a shot at HP.And I don't know if she has enjoyed the last few rounds of the playoffs , but I do know she has enjoyed watching her Lions win 3 titles. , which is more than anyone who cheers for any team not named LaMarque , Southlake Carroll , or Celina can say.

Wow Wee! Thanks for your kind words in my defense. I usually ignore posters like rhs82, well I try to anyway. I can't imagine his reasoning for name calling and making a total and complete A$$ of him/her-self. Posters like that usually don't last long kinda like your typical bandwagon fan. I imagine he was that little kid that got his ears thumped and a$$ kicked on a daily basis.
Actually, I've enjoyed watching all 4 titles, even though from the 1st to the 2nd took awahile as HP can relate. I'm glad I've got to witness all of them and look forward to more. GO LIONS!!

Well, I knew Highland Park was legit before this game started, but GOOD GOD! For those who didn't watch this game, the Scots are THAT GOOD! Everman has a great team, but YIKES! Rider had a great defense, and they couldn't stop Everman from running the ball. Highland Park, on the other hand, held the Bulldogs to 67 yards rushing, and most of that came on Sedrick's 43 yard TD run. I'd also like to say, that the Bulldogs did NOT take the Scots lightly, they took them very seriously.

One more thing, I think that the Scots defense of this year is better than the defense that they had in 2005. Now, they're not a better team overall, but their defense is better than that one.

The Scots are BETTER than advertised!
