Maybe you shouldn't

6 preseson polls are out and to show the disparity among them -- ESPN, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, RIVALS, NPP, MAXPREPS & USATODAY. There are 41 teams ranked in the top 25 amongst the 6 polls. Rancho Santa Margarita, California 2-1-1-3-4-2 (13 points total) is #1 overall. Something amusing -- Dallas Skyline 3-2-2-4-3-xx (40 points total) is #4 overall; however unranked by USATODAY. Miami Central is 6-5-16-15-xx-1 (69 points total) is #13 overall; unranked by MAXPREPS. I assign 26 points for unranked teams.

I don't know who OLDCOACH.COM is; but look at his preseson rankings compared to Texas Football: Texas Football's rankings came out around July 1; so maybe OLDCOACH is more accurate. We'll have to wait to find out.
.
TX FOOTBALL-------OLD COACH----------TX FOOTBALL
1 Dallas Skyline----- SLC-------------------
2 Lake Travis ------- Lake Travis---------
3 SLC----------------- Dallas Skyline ------
4 Katy----------------- Cibolo Steele-------
5 Euless Trinity------ Abilene-------------- 14
6 Allen----------------- Longview-----------
7 Cibolo Steele------ LaPorte------------- UR
8 DeSoto------------- Katy------------------
9 Longview----------- Arl. Martin----------
10 Arl. Martin-------- SA Madison-------- 17
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's the Preseason Consolidated rankings -- I'm only tabulating Top 25 rankings because some polls only go that far.
There are 2 ways of tabulating poings - I prefer to give 1 point for #1, 2 for #2,etc. It's easier that way.

Did you watch the state game? When you get a toss to the outside and you go untouched for 50 yards, your not doing anything but running theirs no other way explain what he did genius. When D.S. ran up the middle he was getting hit by the first guy and going down. You act like every top prospect is always dead on. Do i need to mention the long list of top prospects who never did anything at the next level?

The IFAF International Bowl will be played in Austin for the 3rd straight year --
pitting the best from the USA against the best from 63 other countries (under 19).
The USA won 21-14 in 2011 - lost 35-29 on Feb. 1,2012.
There's a similar International Bowl (19 & under) played in January.
The USA won 17-0 in 2011 and won a close game this past January.
