C.J. finally gets to try his hand at a save again. Rangers finally take the lead in the 14th 7-5 and C. J. comes in and closes it out. Long game but well worth staying up to watch. The Rangers looked a lot better than they did yesterday.

If things don't get better for the team, I see bad things for coaching and office staff soon.

I wonder if Ron Washington will see the end of the season as coach.
Texas is making is hard to stay interested this season.
I really, really wish Hicks would sell the team.
I'll give him $5 for it...
We must be some die-hard fans!
I wonder what their Pythagorean # is now...and if it coincides with their record...
Just calculated it, and it does coincide with their record. Their actual win % is .412, and their Pythagorean win % is .399.

well I've watched all but 1 game this year.......meaning I've only watched one game(actually just a couple of innings at that). can't say I'm too excited. although I do miss watching bball. I tell you guys fantasy bball is very fun and it keeps you watching all year. especially when the rangers are tanking. but I am surprised at their recent streak. Not that they won 5 straight.....but that all of those games were in their division. It seems it's been a while since that happened. now granted the mariners are a bad team at the moment. but the rangers fall back to glory against the A's Sunday. Now the key is to win some lose a couple.....not seven straight. we'll see what happens. Now this is more like it! Back to back to back shut outs by the Ranger pitchers. Tonight's game was FUN to watch. Maybe the team is finally finding it's groove. Gotta love beating up on division rivals!!!
and I know JD is the GM. I really don't know what to think of him. Wasn't he the guy that endorsed the chris young trade away for a bull pen pitcher? At least hicks tried to put it on him in the media. anyway what's up with nolan. He is the president of operations correct? what does that make him to daniels? who's calling the shots now? I know nolan has been the vocal one in the papers. I personally lost a lot of respect for mr hicks every since he lied and said that the rangers would sign pudge rodriguez. Now watching Texiera on sportscenter is tough too. it's really only got worse since. but hopefully some of this youth comes around I guess. the only problem is that when they do they will just get traded or sign somewhere else because hicks won't want to pay.

I wish Texas could get past this .500 mark thing! Have they actually been above .500 for more than a day this season?!?!
I'm happy they aren't in the cellar, but for pete's sake let's get off the 1st floor!! Seems like everytime they get to .500 you can almost set you calendar that they'll lose the next game or two.

At least they aren't way below .500 like Seattle right now. I just wish they could start making up some of the ground between them and Oakland.
They've got about half a season after tonight...and currently they're 8 1/2 games back. It's doable, but they have to win a bunch of games.

What a first couple of games this kid has had. 3 RBI's in his first 3 games. Kid is ganna be good. Rangers are currently 3 games over .500 and are 6.5 games back with the Angels and A's playing a series. Just 2.5 games back from Oakland. They have the Angels coming in for a 4 game series next week. They def are still in this thing.Woo Chris Davis
