Sorry. Don't know why it took so long to get this started.

I don't know about anyone else, but the "cares of life" seem to have taken away any joy I might have had lookig forward to this season. Heck, I passed on going to the game tonight for pete's sake!! And Third Day played a concert before the game even! :(

Well thought we were going pretty good there at 5-4, but now we're 5-6 and back in the cellar...

I have been to two games so far, both losing efforts. The Rangers are just plain awful. I hate to say that but they are. The boo birds were out in full force for yesterdays game. Millwood did fairly well but Rupe was horrible. C.J. looked great in a losing effort. I guess they just wanted to give him some game time. I have to admit I did join in with the boo birds (which I rarely ever do) when Melhuse threw a perfect strike to second to get a runner out and.........neither Kinsler or Young was there to catch it. They just stood and looked at each other as the ball sailed into center field. Rookie mistake by two veteran major leaguers! It was hard to sit through those last few innings :(

RANGERS WIN! Five game losing streak comes to and end!
C.J. finally gets to try his hand at a save again. Rangers finally take the lead in the 14th 7-5 and C. J. comes in and closes it out. Long game but well worth staying up to watch. The Rangers looked a lot better than they did yesterday.

man this is getting old. a decade of losing it seems.........i wonder when the rangers are going to rebuild or come out of it. what are they doing? I can't say I blame the rangers fans who DON'T come to the ballpark. why would they put money in the pocket of hicks if he isn't willing to keep top players like texiera around....soriano....pudge....a-rod...ect.....ect.....ect. everytime I watch texiera on sportscenter it really bothers me being a rangers fan. I just wish hicks would sale the team at this point. I hope I'm wrong about him. I hope he's on the right track with this team. but I just don't see it. this team looks the same.

How on earth do you go up 5-0...only to fall behind 18-6? 0_0

7 games in a row. :( Worst streak since '05. Two sweeps in a row. :crying: Maybe we should start a poll as to how long Wash has as th coach or JD has as the GM. :(

If things don't get better for the team, I see bad things for coaching and office staff soon.

Man! That was a short win streak. Lose 7, win 1 then it is back to losing again :(

I wonder if Ron Washington will see the end of the season as coach. :( Texas is making is hard to stay interested this season. :( I really, really wish Hicks would sell the team.

I'll give him $5 for it...

We must be some die-hard fans!

I wonder what their Pythagorean # is now...and if it coincides with their record...

Just calculated it, and it does coincide with their record. Their actual win % is .412, and their Pythagorean win % is .399.

Now this is more like it! Back to back to back shut outs by the Ranger pitchers. Tonight's game was FUN to watch. Maybe the team is finally finding it's groove. Gotta love beating up on division rivals!!!

well I've watched all but 1 game this year.......meaning I've only watched one game(actually just a couple of innings at that). can't say I'm too excited. although I do miss watching bball. I tell you guys fantasy bball is very fun and it keeps you watching all year. especially when the rangers are tanking. but I am surprised at their recent streak. Not that they won 5 straight.....but that all of those games were in their division. It seems it's been a while since that happened. now granted the mariners are a bad team at the moment. but the rangers fall back to glory against the A's Sunday. Now the key is to win some lose a couple.....not seven straight. we'll see what happens.

and I know JD is the GM. I really don't know what to think of him. Wasn't he the guy that endorsed the chris young trade away for a bull pen pitcher? At least hicks tried to put it on him in the media. anyway what's up with nolan. He is the president of operations correct? what does that make him to daniels? who's calling the shots now? I know nolan has been the vocal one in the papers. I personally lost a lot of respect for mr hicks every since he lied and said that the rangers would sign pudge rodriguez. Now watching Texiera on sportscenter is tough too. it's really only got worse since. but hopefully some of this youth comes around I guess. the only problem is that when they do they will just get traded or sign somewhere else because hicks won't want to pay.

What a year Edinson Volquez is having with the Reds 7-1 with a 1.33 era. Man I wish we would have kept him, but Hamilton is off to a verty strong start as well. Rangers are having a good May lets hope Millwood stays on the DL and the team keeps playing good baseball.

Man  :o I wish Texas could get past this .500 mark thing! Have they actually been above .500 for more than a day this season?!?! I'm happy they aren't in the cellar, but for pete's sake let's get off the 1st floor!! Seems like everytime they get to .500 you can almost set you calendar that they'll lose the next game or two. :(

had a good chance yesterday, but couldn't hold on in the end against Kansas City. Next stop Shea Stadium for some interleague play.

At least they aren't way below .500 like Seattle right now. I just wish they could start making up some of the ground between them and Oakland.

They've got about half a season after tonight...and currently they're 8 1/2 games back. It's doable, but they have to win a bunch of games.

What a first couple of games this kid has had. 3 RBI's in his first 3 games. Kid is ganna be good. Rangers are currently 3 games over .500 and are 6.5 games back with the Angels and A's playing a series. Just 2.5 games back from Oakland. They have the Angels coming in for a 4 game series next week. They def are still in this thing.
