I think once again many of the suns fans are underestimating the spurs. I don't see why or how....how many times have they defeated the spurs in the playoffs of late? when has a steve nash offense got past the spurs?...never btw. the key will be shaq and amare........I actually think this one goes to 7. who wins??? I don't know. I guess I'll go with the suns. I think shaq helps them vs. the spurs more so than any other team. but he hurts them against others.(3)

this series is great to watch for me.....a mavs fan. and quite frankly I hope these two beat the snot out of each other in 7 games. I hope neither of the two make it to the WCF....and I don't expect that they will. mark it now.here we go again big market team against the small market.....who will win.....the best team the SPURS

What about the monster of a game that Duncan had 40 points , 13 rebs, 5 assist, and 3 blocks. And this is WITH either Shaq or Amare guarding him for most of the game. ANd what did you boys think about the 3 pointer he drained. The man was the definition of clutch yesterday. Hey Lorenzo , make sure you will give the Suns fans he!!

well the ones I know.....I'm trying to keep them honest. but it's hard to do....much like spurs fans were when they lost to dallas a couple of years back. this is going to go beyond 5 and the teams are very close. I agree that the suns have to be thinking what do they have to do to get a W there. If the spurs win game 2 the suns will be in huge trouble. I'd expect the suns to win that one but we'll see the spurs are tough at home or on the road in the playoffs. I don't want to see freakin shaq win another title that's for sure. he was already up to his normal crybaby self after the game was over. what an overrated piece he is. and yes TD was very clutch and outplayed both shaq and amare. schooled them really. people underestimate TD's outside shooting. I guess they look at his FT % and figure he is a poor shooter.......far from reality in fact what makes him the best BIG man since hakeem is his ability to knock down the jumper. he also hit another HUGE shot in the first OT from about 20 ft before he hit that fluke 3 pointer as some are saying. my thinking is if a coach draws up a play it's usually because he has some expectation that the team is going to execute it. he wouldn't of done it if TD wasn't a good outside shooter.....not a fluke IMO.Spurs take game 2 in double overtime. They got off to such a terrible start, if the Suns could not win that one after being up 16 then they are gonna be in trouble. I say Spurs in 5.

Shaq, to me, has been a liability for them since arriving. His superstar status on the court has been gone a long time; hence, he doesn't make the team around him better anymore. They are way worse.
I don't want to put the blame completely on him, though...rather more on the owners, managers, etc for making that lame trade to make a really good team go to crap.
In the meantime, SA is firing on all cylinders. My feeling every year when folks start talking about "the team to beat" in the East and West is this: Until you knock off the year's prior NBA champs, and the runner-up to that same series, those 2 teams REMAIN the teams to beat!!
With that said, I don't care that LA and New Orleans and whoever looks like the teams to beat. DEAD WRONG folks! Until San Antonio loses a series, they are the team to beat.
Spurs BLOW OUT the suns in game 3 in Arizona . Parker was unstoppable, while Manu and Timmy looked good as well. Bowen has shut down Nash , while Tim Thomas and Duncan have done an excellent job on Shaq and Amare.Barbosa was about the only good thing they had going in game 3 The Suns are in some SERIOUS trouble now. It's time to break out the brooms , I feel a sweep coming on Sunday. Hey Lorenzo, what are the Suns fans excuses now. Hopefully you are enjoying some silence, cause really their is no body to blame but the SUns this time . They are just the inferior team.

I think the Suns lost this series about midway thru the season when they traded for Shaq. They gave up team speed; especially with the loss of Marion.
