Congratulations to Birdstone. He ran a very good race today. I wish he hadn't made that move at the end, but he did what he had to do.
Also, congratulations to Smarty Jones, he did an amazing job. There was something about him, I can't explain what, that just captivated this entire country. He will go down as one of the greatest horses in history. Though he fell short today, he is still one of the best horses to run a race. Congratulations on a great run towards history.

Wow, what a race that was, but it sucked when Birdstone came up, we were yelling at my house when he appeared on the screen, because it looked like he had more left than Smarty. Smarty Jones has helped revitalize horse racing for this generation.
