this weekend it starts. It's still hard to say what the matchups will be. For the mavs it's anyone but L.A. but I don't think it really matters this year because the lakers are a shoe in for the finals if there ever was one. it should be a nice finals though with kobe vs. lebron. yes cleveland not boston. no repeat this year.

while I do think the mavs probably got the best possible matchup against the spurs, I am not very optimistic about their chances. They have not played well on the road against good teams. But the spurs are one team that for some reason they have been able to beat in SA.
