Max Preps appears to have two polls. A Writers poll and a computer generated one. I think you are including the computer generated one.

I watched Liberty, Bethlehem, PA get blown out by North Penn. They just did not look ready and got rolled by North Penn's running game. They lost to them last year but then came back and beat them in the playoffs. I feel that Liberty is the more talented team and once they get rolling, they should be very good. The team just does not get off to a good start for some reason.

-In the first few weeks there's a lot of movement in the polls, due to it being projections from the prior year initially. For instance, one and two, in Texas, Allen and Katy, have both gone down to defeat, while Southlake Carroll (which I saw last night), has been much stronger than anyone intially thought. Expect a lot more shakeup before the weekend's over.

SLC is ranked #2 in The Dallas poll behind Cedar Hill. Upcoming game against Northshore will give a good indication of whether they're back among the elite. They're averaging 50 ppg thus far.

The GP game is what they will need to propel into the Top 25. I think they're worthy of it. Felt it was odd that Prep Nation had put Garland in the Top 25 a week back.

Gonne be some shakeups in the polls. If MNW wins today, they have Central on Thursday on ESPN2. The winner of that game should be right up there. Too bad STA can't play them since they are right next to eachother! 6A and 5A is stupid. Have 1 Super class!
