Petrolia, under 1st year head coach Chris McWilliams, defeated district 9-A champion Munday tonight 28-25 to secure a playoff spot and give Munday its only district loss. Petrolia ends the regular season 4-6, but went 3-2 in tough district 9-A with victories over Electra, Windthorst, and Munday. Petrolia was 1-9 a year ago, and has not been in the playoffs since 2003. Great job Pirates!
