I'm on this bandwagon....
That's a phenomenol lineup-
DLS has had so much success it's almost disgusting......
Looking at MNW's 07 team... They have possibly 5 guys that have some kind of shot at the NFL.. maybe even more if some of the underrated guys blow up this year.
That team, when it's all said and done, might be one of the most talented teams ever.
Don't forget the 2002 Warren Harding team... Mario Manningham, Prescott Burgess, Maurice Clarett, David Herron... maybe not the in the best team ever convo.. but they were extremely talented..
I agree about MNW..
In 1999 though Evangel Christian, La was stacked as well...I honestly don't think anyone could have beat Evangel Christian in 1999 and that includes DLS...Evangel was scary, ask anyone...

Evangel 28 JC 20

John Curtis and West Monroe were great football teams...I was at the Dome for West Monroe/Evangel and ranks as one of the best games I've ever seen...42,000 at that one...Looked like a college game...
Who did DLS beat in 1999?...

Evangel 28 JC 20
Evangel 20 Monroe 14
That's 3 close games. Unless these 3 teams were all top 25 teams I can't believe they'd beat 99 DLS. I'd take DLS by 2tds at least.

Mater Dei and Poly tied for the Southern Section division 1 championship in 1999. DLS beat 7 section champs in Cali that year. Their closest game was a 30+ blow out.

Moss Point didn't even win a title in Mississippi in 1999. I wonder how far they went in the playoffs. ECA beat name programs, not great teams in Springdale and Moss Point.

I dunno what they did in 1999...Moss Point was nationally ranked in 2000, so they had to be decent...Moss Point is tough anyways regardless of what they do...They always have some studs/speed...

I find it just shocking that: Cajun submited a Louisiana team, steeler submitted a California team and gmc submitted a New Jersey team. Obviously, those were just great teams and bias played no part in their selections. My submission? 2005 Lakeland. Go figure.
I submitted a Texas team.
