Resume?
No. 5 on this list of all-time best Texas teams. Obviously, that's incorrect.

2004 Colerain is the best team I've ever watched. I've not seen a team in the US this decade that would lay a glove on them.
They were great that year, no doubt...

Midland Lee (2000) is the 4th best Texas team of all time according to your link...
4. 2000 Midland Lee: Led by record-setting running back Cedric Benson, Lee won its third consecutive state title. But there was more than Benson to handle. Standout lineman Eric Winston was a terror at tight end and on defense.
2000
West Monroe 36
Midland Lee 8

That link is sad. 2003 North Shore is the most dominant Texas team ever.

2003 Don Bosco Prep was absolutely phenomenol... Certainly the best team I have ever seen... The entire O-Line went division 1 and Brian Toal was absolutely unstoppable at RB (was also the nations best Middle linebacker according to several recruiting sites) and Michael Ray Garvin also got a bunch of carries.

The 1998 West Monroe team probably had 16 or 17 D1s...Not sure about the 2000 team, but it was up there..
Some highlights of West Monroe from 2008-they didn't win state here...BUT, that's how they play..

99 DLS
D.J. Williams(Best H.S. player in Cali history, and the defensive player of the year by USA Today in 99. Plays for the Broncos)
Kevin Simon(Rated one of the top LB's in the country in 00, and was an all SEC player, blew out his knee multiple times in college, and was cut by the Redskins in mini camp)
Demetrius Williams( Plays for the Ravens, and was one of the top WR's in the nation in 00)
Matt Gutierrez( One of the top QB's in the nation in 01, was the back up for the Patriots last year, and is currently on the Kansas City Chiefs roster)
Derek Landri(State player of the year in Cali in 01, and one of the most recruited lineman in the country in 01. Currently plays for the Jaguars)
Rob Meadow( Big time offensive lineman recruit, played for the Washington Huskies, and was in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills)
Tosh Lupoi(All state DT, and big time college recruit that went to Cal)

Their is also a couple of more I missed(Don't feel like archiving stuff up right now). I'm sure BG can finish this for me.

West Monroe had 3 or 4 from the 1998 team that went on to the NFL among all that D1 talent they had that year..That said, alot of people still think the 2000 team was better than the 1998 team...My opinion, it's close...

I'm on this bandwagon....
That's a phenomenol lineup-
DLS has had so much success it's almost disgusting......
Looking at MNW's 07 team... They have possibly 5 guys that have some kind of shot at the NFL.. maybe even more if some of the underrated guys blow up this year.
That team, when it's all said and done, might be one of the most talented teams ever.
Don't forget the 2002 Warren Harding team... Mario Manningham, Prescott Burgess, Maurice Clarett, David Herron... maybe not the in the best team ever convo.. but they were extremely talented..

The 1999 DLS team was just over loaded with talent. It wasn't fair for their opponents.West Monroe had 3 or 4 from the 1998 team that went on to the NFL among all that D1 talent they had that year..That said, alot of people still think the 2000 team was better than the 1998 team...My opinion, it's close...
