They are two completely different circumstances.. I criticized you for saying Tampa Bay Tech was good and that's why they beat Plant.

Your criticizing me for saying a great team could likely beat SPP because a shitty team almost did.

It would have been hypocritical of me if I were in turn to use RBC as a barometer of how good NJ is (as you did with TBT vs. Armwood)..

See how that's different? Ci or no?

I see what you were going for, but it doesn't read as proper as I think you meant for it to.

Watched Don Basco play the CAL team and they look good. However the CAL team did not look good. I have also watched Manatee play Good Counsel and the class 2A FL state champ (runner up?). Good counsel is a good team and beat manatee with the big play. Big plays appear to be the only way anybody has scored in their last 3 games. Without the big plays (man on d1 wideout) manatee would have beat Good counsel (several un characteristic missed fileds goas to boot).
Don basco looks good from what I saw but not so good that I think they would crush manatee. This game will come down to turnovers and defense. Manatee D will match up very well with Don Basco if they have learned to stop playing man and getting burned (hello saftey). Manatees offense will be the big question vs Don basco D. They improved each game with all of the new players and it appeasr they have found their heads. I think they match up well based on what I have seen and Cord Sanberg will be effective. Add head coach Joe Kinnian to this mix and I think it will be a close game.

Don basco gets the best talent in NJ. The running back drives 50 miles just so he can play for them (just one example). If Manatee got all of the talent within a 50 mile radius they would crush any team in the nation. What if ther was only one high school in Miami...that team would be sick.

Don basco is the talk right now but here is the deal. If manatee wins....so much for all of the hype. If the game is close and Don Basco wins there also goes the hype. Don Basco needs to destroy manatee to keep the hype. If they do not do this.....it is all just talk. If manatee wins NJ will have also lost to Good counsel (another prep school that recurits) .

I have watched them both play and my guess is a very close game won by the team with fewer turnovers. They are both good teams and it will be a good game. Watch manatees DT (300 pounder) he is good.

This should be a good game. Manatee is ranked # 76 in the country by Cal, a non biased algorithm. Last year STA played Manatee who by the same algorithm was rankled 75. I mention this to show that Manatee's relative strength is the same. This was the strongest team STA played all of last season.
The Manatee coach has stated that this is his fastest team ever. I have no reason to doubt him.
Bosco will have to travel to Fl on a short week which of course is a big advantage for Manatee. STA is in the same state of course and travel was not an issue.
So I think this should be a good match up.
In spite of Manatee having greater speed this year and Bosco having to travel, generally worth at least two scores this should be a great game to compare STA and Bosco.

These rankings don't really mean much. Manatee lost; so are ranked #76 or so; but playing at home and having lost a close game to Maryland's top team in ot that could have gone either way; this should be a close game. Of course DBP plays a hurried up offensive scheme and Mission Viejo was winded before the 1st quarter was over. Will Manatee be able to keep up in a similar type game?

And when Bosco wins by 20 I'm sure you won't be gloating and talking about Rosco having beaten a top ranked CalPreps blah blah blah.

find me a post where I have gloated. You can't. It's not what I do. A sore loser is bad but a sore winner is the worst thing ever. You have a bad habit of taking what others post and attributing it to me. Plaese don't.

Nice work.

Keep trollin' fella, you keep character better than any I've seen yet.
