"Jayton Gordon, shortstop, Jr., Clyde softball — In a difficult bidistrict series against Coahoma and ace pitcher Heather Newton, Gordon finished with a .333 average through two games with a double and a triple.

She also had three RBIs, eight putouts and scored a run on a passed ball.

Clyde ended its season at 29-8."

Mavericks Come Up Short In Series.
The Eastland Mavericks faced the Olney Cubs in a best of three series.
The Cubs took the first game with Eastland tying up the series in the 2nd game. When the dust settled after the third game the Cubs had come out on top. Here is a wrap up of each of the three games.
