This is one of those things that aggravates me a little.
One of the things that players are taught at the little league and High School levels, at least, is to run the bases full speed, or as close to full speed as possible.
What kind of aggravates me is a guy who will hit a ground ball to 2nd base, and just sort of trot or jog down the baseline. I mean, I don't know how many guys could be safe because of a slightly misplayed or bobbled ball if they'd run full speed down the baseline. It might not be very many, but it's still slightly aggravating to me.
Is anyone else like this?
That would be like a batter laying down a bunt and then just trotting down the baseline because he knows he's gonna be out.
Guys who jog or trot down the baseline...

Yeah, but I'm sure these guys have provisions in their contract against it.
Heck, I remember going to an Astros/Reds game a long while back (Griffey was on the Reds) and the Reds came out and stretched before the game. They were doing situps / legitimate stretches / etc. Griffey, meanwhile, was messing around instead of stretching.
