Somebody asked me about an Ennis alumni game? Has anybody heard anything about that? I haven't. But it would be cool to get one together!

Somebody asked me about an Ennis alumni game? Has anybody heard anything about that? I haven't. But it would be cool to get one together!
Would it be touch? Flag? What?
I'm not in good enough shape to play, I don't think...might be fun, though!

Do a google search for "Ennis Alumni Football Game" and there is something in Facebook about signing up. I can not look at Facebook at work because of blocked pages.

Ever wanted to put the pads on one more time? Well you can...........GET BACK IN THE GAME! Alumni Football USA is putting together a real football game. Ennis Alumni Team vs. Corsicana Alumni Team sometime between September and November of 2010.

I think I saw this on ESPN (maybe on Outside the Lines) a while back. It was really cool. Two rival high school football teams got together years later and played a real football game with helmets, pads, and real officials. How cool is that? Way!

This might actually be cool! I think I still remember how to punt/kick...so...maybe I could convince my wife and son to come out and watch me...

And maybe some of the Ennis Band Alums should get together and the Ennis Alumni Band could play at the Alumni football game. This could be a really fun event. Kinda like a class renuion for all classes.

Ennis Alumni Football Team Kickoff Event will be Thursday, August 19th at 7:00 pm. Site TBD.
Ennis vs. Corsicana Alumni Football Game will be either October 9th or 10, 2010.
