Army Strong 1A Team of Week 0ero.
"Canadian is a Class 1A powerhouse, but the Wildcats proved in Week 0 that they can also dominate 2A competition when they posted a 44-0 win over Amarillo River Road. River Road has more than twice as many students as Canadian, but the Wildcats didn't let that deter them. New QB Braden Hudson had a big debut, rushing for 184 yards and passing for 188 more."

Tatum used a big effort by RB B.J. Allen to pull off a huge road upset of defending Class 3A Division I state champion Gilmer, 47-41, and snap the Buckeyes' 34-game home winning streak. Allen rushed for 286 yards and three TDs, including 253 yards in the second half.

Mason faced its toughest non-district foe on Friday night when the Punchers went up against 2A DI No. 7 Comfort. The game went down to the wire, and Mason emerged with a 34-33 win, thanks in large part to the play of RB David Mora. Mora rushed for 258 yards and four TDs, including the game’s final two scores as the Punchers rallied from a 33-20 deficit.

"Cayuga faced a tall task this season replacing coach Tommy Allison and its top two players, RB Traylon Shead and QB Malcolme Kennedy, from last year's state championship team. But so far, new coach Greg Jenkins has maintained the Wildcats' winning ways, and they remained unbeaten Friday with an exciting 20-19 overtime win over Dawson."

"Claude's Jeremiah Hughes rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns as the Mustangs defeated Booker, 44-28. Led by new coach James Lane, Claude is now 3-2 on the season after entering 2010 on a 28-game losing streak."

"In a battle of unbeaten teams, Stamford was able to keep its perfect record intact with a 32-26, double-overtime victory over Archer City. Cameron McDonald's 21-yard touchdown run in the second overtime gave Stamford the victory. Stamford improved to 6-0 on the season heading into its big district opener against Albany."

"Thrall tied a school record with 84 points scored on Friday in an 84-6 rout of Somerville. Thrall scored 28 points in the first quarter and 28 more in the second quarter to build a 56-6 halftime lead. Thrall's Hayden Caffey scored five touchdowns, including two on punt returns. The district-opening win was Thrall's fifth in a row."

"Garrison had an unbeaten record heading into Friday's game against Alto, but this was the Bulldogs' chance to make a statement against a quality opponent, and they took advantage. Garrison's Dustin Strahan ran for a 5-yard TD run with 5:28 left, and an extra point by Nathan Burkhalter gave Garrison a 28-27 victory. Garrison improved to 7-0 on the season and 2-0 in District 10-1A DI competition."

"Bremond led from beginning to end as the Tigers posted a 29-14 win over Chilton to take control of the District 10-1A DII title race. Bremond's JOhnathon White ran for two touchdowns and a two-point conversion as the Tigers improved to 6-2 on the season and 3-0 in district play."

Ganado wrapped up the District 15-1A DI title with a thorough defeat of rival Yorktown, 42-7. The Indians remained undefeated on the season (9-0) and in district play (3-0) heading into this week's season finale against Flatonia. Ganado has scored more than 40 points in five games this season, including its past two.

Farwell pulled off one of the biggest upsets of Week 10 when the Steers knocked off the top-ranked team in Class 1A Division II, Springlake-Earth, to earn the District 3-1A DII title. Farwell's 35-32 victory moved the Steers' record to 9-1 on the season and 4-0 in district play. The loss was Springlake-Earth's first of the year. Quarterback Landry Actkinson led the way for Farwell with three touchdowns passes, including two to Kolten Morris.

Seymour scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to pull off a surprising 41-27 upset of state-ranked New Deal in the first-round of the Class 1A Division I playoffs. Seymour piled up 368 yards in the game. The Panthers improved to 7-4 and advanced to face Clarendon in the second round.

Evadale earned its first playoff win since 1991 in round two with a 55-21 win over favored D'Hanis. Evadale, which had a bye in the first round of the postseason, got a stellar effort out of quarterback Billy Nichols, who was involved in five touchdowns -- three rushing and two passing. Evadale's defense was exceptional, ringing up three interceptions and returning one for a touchdown. Evadale lost first-round playoff game in each of the last four years by an average of more than 40 points
