Well, we're halfway there. It's time to start district games and see how we all stack up. I was wondering if anyone wanted to weigh in on the teams in 10 & 11 3A.

10 3A Standings:
Celina 5 - 0
Anna 4 - 1
Bonham 4 - 1
Van Alstyne 4 - 1
Commerce 2 - 3

11 3A Standings:
Lovejoy 3 - 1
Prosper 2 - 3
Farmersville 1 - 4
Frisco Lone Star 0 - 5
Nevada Community 0 - 5

I'll begin with 10 3A and Celina. They've been steam rolling everyone in their way. Anna is a much improved team. Being the Homer that I am, I wish Celina would've been put somewhere else simply because it's been so long since Anna has done so well. Oh well, c`est la vie.

The real question is "Who is number 2 in 10 3A?"

If you go by who beat who, it would be hard to tell how good anyone is right now. If you take Celina and Lovejoy out of the picture, it might be a tight race. But how good is Prosper?
Commerce started out on fire, but the fire was estinguished by Princeton, who lost to VA by 7. Farmersville is playing better than they started out. They to lost to Van Alstyne.

I say in district 10 it will be Celina, Anna, Van Alstyne, Commerce, and Bonham. Anna will most definately reach the playoffs.

In 11 at the moment, it will be obviously Lovejoy then Prosper, and Princeton maybe grabbing third. I still think Farmersville is the best of the bottom half unless something happens in that next game. I think Community is better than Lone Star.

I believe Anna is #2. But I have a feeling that the last regular game of the season might just be the deciding factor. Anna needs to stay healthy. GO COYOTES!!!

I'm thinking that Anna can probably handle Van Alstyne...you know what?....I'm going go on a limb and say Anna beats Celina.

I got some people in Celina all wound up now.

Week 5 games

Van Alstyne vs. Brownsboro that's Thursday night in Royse City
Bonham plays. N. Lamar there after the big win over Community
Celina should get an easy win at home vs. Lake Worth
Caddo Mills plays Commerce there on the turf
Anna hosts Quinlan Ford for 1 final non-district test

then in district 11
Lovejoy plays the Home school kids for their last non-district game
everyone else is getting ready for the district.

Tomorrow night is Anna's last non-district game (we have a bye next week) and I'm still not ready to stir that pot.
