Idalou football coach Taylor retires.

"...the long-time Idalou head football coach capped a brilliant 22-year head-coaching career and 38-year run in football altogether when he announced his retirement effective in June. His team captured the Class 2A Division II state championship, capping the best season in school history. He leaves with a career record of 189-65-3 for an incredible .724 winning percentage. His teams qualified for the postseason 16 times, including 11 straight seasons from 2000 to 2010."
