The way I look at in our district...

East Texas Fans Want Tyler Lee, John Tyler, and Longview to do good
Mesquite fans want Mesquite, Mesquite Horn, North Mesquite, and Rockwall to do good...

The reason people hate summit is cause we will come and hit u...Say for example your by your self jogging u have nothin to do with the play...and BAM! some comes and knock u off ur feet....We get alot of flags for that...Most are penalteys are that!

SG and Garland hate each other, and every other team in 11-5A (with the exception of sachse who is in their first year) hates Garland out of desire to overtake them as the dominant team in district.

I know. We are hated. I have met people and when they ask me what high school I went to and I say Southlake Carroll, if they are from the metroplex they would say that they hate us because we win almost everything

Alice-is OK with us

I work over at some baseball fields in Grapevine, when someone asks, I am resistant to tell them beucase we are very hated.

Even within Tyler alot of people hate Tyler Lee. Every time we play at Rose Stadium (pardon me, Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium), the refs never seem to favor us the way some home refs favor their teams.

Mostly I think that it is because none of the refs like Coach Owens at Tyler Lee. That man will tell you what he thinks of you and your stupid call wether you like it or not.

But mostly it is becasue of all of the old John Tyler fans back in their glory days. Everyone still wants John Tyler to win but they just won't anymore. Not against Tyler Lee.

If a District is dominated by one or two teams, there is a /revivary'
between these two teams w/the rest of the District playing catch up.

Donna most hated school in the valley not the district. if we do good were doing roids, or have older guys, or recruits, etc etc. We also get the one dimensional weak team theory about us running the ball all of the time. toss right toss left up the middle but guess what 6 years straight to the playoffs. With a crippled team and a couple of or starters out including the QB we are still playing tough and we might just make it seven years. to bad we havent been so succesful in the playoffs though.

LC doesn't hate you, we're just happy to be in the room (though it would be nice to overtake you as the dominant team in district, just don't see it happening for LC anytime *soon*)

LC used to hate Garland, back in the early and mid '90's. They used to beat Garland on a pretty regular basis back then, too. Tommy Watkins always had a way of beating Garland - until he got to Rowlett...
