Why all the negativity from Capt Jack. I am positive the powers to be want to make the best decision for the football team. Easy to sit on the sidelines and yell I would do it a different way.

Lets support this team and the decision makers. I want the best also but I don t have all the criteria in front of me to make this decision.

No offense to anyone but this is a tough call call I am sure.

Not hiring Pwillie has not been a popular move with the townsfolk.

Currently trying to convince the "torch and pitchfork" crowd to stay at home tonight.

Where is this Coach Alvarez from? I know that the previously mentioned Coach Bowman was from Daingerfield.

The school board meeting tonight is going to be muy interesting.

He has been in the state championships for the past previous twoears and only losing out this year to the school that went to sate.

I don't know much about him. What kind of offense does he run? I'd love for Ennis to keep the Spread.

Maybe the mis -direction offense would be a good fit. We generally don't have size but we always find quickness in our kids. If you are going to change offense styles this would be the time. Keeping offense on field and defense off wins games in the end
Really hope to keep some of the present staff on both sides of the ball though. I know they have been working hard with the kids in the off season.

I know alot of people dont like change but give him a chance he will not let you down. He is the real deal. He is one of the best at getting the players in the t position and getting the most out of them. He will demand a 100 percent work ethic and will and runs a very tight shiop. there will be disclpline. H Dont let the stats fool you. He runs a version of the wing t but is very good at using the pass to pen the run. He has been forunate to have one of the top running backs in the state the past few years so dont let the stats fool you. He will pass the ball. He

is a fun coach to play for and to watch. He is wide open all the time. He is not afraid of going for it and will do what it takes to get the win.

I figured that a choice would be made along offensive lines. Texas HS football seems to so much about the offense.
I guess the next waiting game is to see how the rest shakes out.

Do we know if any of the current coaches are "protected"?

I'd love to see Coach Willie stay as the D-Coordinator, since he wasn't hired as HC.

I'd love to see a run smash mouth attack back in Ennis. The spread is fun and exciting, but the Wishbone and Wing T is FOOTBALL! Let's get the D back, we need a shutdown defense....

I sure hope so. Sam didn't do too bad keeping him around.
We do have some good coaches on staff that have "lion" hearts
