I will get the ball rolling so that as summer gets here, people can "Google" their favorite team and wind up here. For the sake of competition, I hope this is the last year for Lovejoy in class 3A, even though we did enjoy visiting that fine facility in Lucas. The 4A schools will get to experience Lovejoy in football for a change. I'm not sure where Prosper and Lone Star will fall in 2012 as their numbers will explode by then as well. Pronceton is growing but not as much, but the Panthers are coming off a historical season where they made a rare trip to the playoffs. Farmersville is going to dust themselves off and build off a dismal 3-7 season and try to make a push for the playoffs once again in what appears to be their toughest district yet. Prosper and Lovejoy are going to be tough, even after losing several key starters. Any 3A team that has 3 sub-varsity teams won't have trouble finding quality players. Lone Star should bring back thier entire team to try and get thier first ever win in varsity football. Oh yeah, Community is also looking to rebound from a 1-win season. Even though the folks in SE Collin County are accustomed to these type of seasons, this is a new era for the Braves especially after they won their first ever playoff game. Celina will always be Celina, or so it seems. They have a smaller district than most teams, so making the playoffs doesn't seem to be much of an achievement these days. But, for that town over to the northeast of McKinney, not Melissa, but the other one, Anna, making the playoffs is a really big deal because it rarely happens. But it did, and it should happen again.
