Heard the new move in could be a starter on the o-line pretty quick! In other news...heard that 2 more under-classmen have quit, pretty soon we may be down to one team in High School. I long for the days when we had 120+ in the program.

Here in Texas, however, where football is a religion and a 100-mile drive is often preceded by the word "only," it's not uncommon to see football fans jump through three or four counties to see the game of their choice.

This column, of course, is our annual effort to pay homage to these fanatics, by giving them an advance menu of games to choose from on a weekly basis.

Games including Abilene High, Cooper and Wylie will be excluded here, given the fact they will get ample attention during the course of the season.

Much of this is hit-and-miss and subject to change, given the fact every season has teams that surprise and disappoint. But as of this writing, here are the best games to travel to in 2011.

yes, looking forward to it, usually is a great game, the only time i have been suprised by the outcome was in 2008, we had a great team that year, but the season didn't go so well...thats why you play the game. anyway, good luck, i hope the game goes injury free, and the fans stay in check.

Goodness, our boys looked pretty bad after the 1rst quarter. I just don't get it. Had a few good things happen now and then, but the rest was terrible. All those big runs against the defense, .................. wow
