I like this board better then Rivals board.
I love this board but it's been dead as heck lately. Everyone's over on rivals.
As for the Bishop-Armwood game, it's tough to say because I have no idea what Armwood is going to look like with their new QB and no Jones.
Both teams should be real physical up front but I think the running games cancel each other out. Whoever throws the ball most effectively wins this one, imo.
If I had to pick at this point, I'd go with BG in a close one because they've already got a game under their belt. I think that makes a huge difference at this stage.

So I am not the only one. DSouth and Canes either suck up to Dallas or manipulate him in other ways. Reading a thread there today I got "chills" reading D south's comments. I could not even post there.
To paraphrase, "oh, Dallas, you are so smart and ESPN is so stupid!" Just disgusting stuff. The site spends half it's time knocking other peoples polls and the remainder is spent misrepresenting schools that are not from FL.
The good part over there is that Dallas has made that board very interactive with polls and picking the winner of games and the like.

Are you kidding me? Dallas is an idiot. I have little respect for him. Why would I suck up to him? If I could manipulate him do you think he'd had some of those garbage teams ranked?

The reason I like this board more, is because the people on this board have actually followed teams from around the country for some time. The Rivals board has a bunch of newbies. That have no clue about anything outside of their state. Just what they hear from other posters or DJ. Here we get to talk about football with ppl that have acutally watched the teams that are playing, that are not from their state. So I am not the only one. And then you get some guys that post a lot (A LOT) but don't have any football knowledge whatsoever. They can recite poll numbers and stats til the cows come home but will watch a game and not know what the heck they're looking at.

LOL, you are consistent. And yes, he does react to what you post. Placing STA at 10 was the best thing for STA especially since DLS and Prattville are ranked so high. We both know Prattville is in no way shape or form #1 (preseason, anyway).
Best of luck to you against Prattville this week, honest. I will be rooting for Prattville however simply because you have turned me against STA with all your name calling in spite of Bosco needing a Prattville loss to force Dallas into putting them #1.
be well

Ashame about you not being able to understand the knowledge in numbers.

I understand them well. I worked for calpreps two years ago. I just don't feel they should be the ONLY source of info when discussing teams.

I agree. What other source do you recommend?
You know, yesterday I watch a college soccer match on matchtracker. Nothing but numbers. I had a real good feel for what had happened in the match by viewing the numbers. I spoke to the coach afterword he confirmed my impression. Just sayin'. I know guys like Canes often misss the "big picture" because he needs to be to intimately involved in all the parts.

I see your point.
But for me, I like to watch the action itself, so highlights, video clips, actually being at the game, watching it on TV, etc. helps round out the picture.

I think all of us here who take the time to post like to watch the games, it's what we see. This past weekend I saw 4 highschool games on the net or TV.
I tend to see the macro, the big picture. Others tend to see many micro. Neither is necessarily better.
Sure as a line coach or QB coach you had better see the detail but to the head coach the overall team play and player interplay may be best to concentrate on.

What the heck are you talking about.
I trash him all the time.
So you found what, the one nice thing I've said to him in months?
Here's just another example of me sucking up to DJ: http://highschool.ri...id=1185&style=2
- This is why I have you on ignore on the other site; you're a lying tool that really isn't worth a response. But then again, liars should not be tolerated.

Armwood is exceptionally talented. But with having to travel, and with BG having a game under its belt, I agree that BG could be a flight favorite here.
I completely forgot this thread was even about Armwood-BG.
Thank goodness post #4 was there to keep us all on track (sorry, forgot, I'm the problem here).
