The Wildcats started the season off on grand fashion by beating the Indians 39-22 . Dawson Reid {my son } starting his first Varsity game at Qb- RB and LB did it in grand fashion . He had a 50 yard TD run , a 60 yd TD pass and stripped the ball and ran for another 50 yard TD . He finished the night with 85 yards on 7 carries . He also added 3 receptions and had 7 tackles and caused 2 fumbles on defense while playing sparingly after a big lead was obtained .
Weston Wuthrich , Collin Buerger , Cody Self , Tyler Green and Cody Klimek all added scores of their own .
Defensive standouts were Carter Macgregor and Sean Newton . Kelvin Green had a nice pick of the Indian QB .
