The Arlington Martin running back tandem of Kyle Hicks and Cameron Williams was just too much for Arlington Bowie as Martin scored a 39-22 win over its crosstown rival to take an early lead in District 4-5A.

San Antonio Warren's QB Rex Dausin threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to help Warren to a crucial win in District 27-5A play with a 44-31 win over San Antonio Stevens.
