Bosco plays Manatee, that's a National #1 playing a National # 41

and

Bergen Catholic plays Plant, #104 playing # 92

Bosco is certainly the favorite over manatee and Plant over BC.

Does anyone see an upset?

Does Bosco need to win by 14 or more on the road to hold it';s #1 status?

Will Plant's home field be too much for bErgen to even look competative?

Bergen and Plant is a toss up. There's no favorite in that game.

Anybody out there. It is pretty obvious Bosco is beatable. Texas teams are under ranked. Even if Allen was ranked #1 chances are they wont win out here just like most any team on the list wouldnt either so its not likely a Texas team will ever get to be the paper champ.
And even though rankings have gotten better like Prepnations, you will see alot of weak regional teams on there because they need thoughs areas to be active on these sites for advertising.. Course everybody already knows this.

every team is beatable

That said, I will say that there is no team in the country that would have beat Manatee that night but Bosco.

As to Rivals, yes everyone is over there, it's a real zoo. you should like it, it's all about TX and FL being the greatest and this "flavor" is supported and proliferated by "peculiar" moderation.

Were the calls really that bad in the game.?
I don't remember very many games in Tx ever where I thought the calls were one sided. I been mad when one call changed the outcome of a game.
I think we go out of our way here to make it fair and even on these OOS games played in Tx you don't get alot of homerism from the announcers cuz they are smart enough to know they are commentating for both states.

You say everyone is beatable then state no one but Bosco could have beaten Manatee that day. Bottomline, Bosco is good but there are several programs that I think could beat them a few here in Tx, so I don't buy the "nobody but Bosco" argument.

An ugly win on the road in hostile territory over a quality opponent is still a win. Who gives a (care) about style points

Hello anybody out there? I'll be kinder now because I got my brace off today. Been 6 weeks since shoulder surgery and I get to sleep back in the bed now. :)

Yes. The final penalty ratio was 15-1, Bosco having 15 and Manatee only 1 (officially they had 2, but it was a delay of game Manatee took on purpose for field position purposes, it was impossible not to call). They also gift wrapped the last TD Manatee got. The kid caught it 2 ft out of bounds, there was a ref about 15 ft away right on the line who saw it, ruled out of bounds, then was overruled by the ref who was about 20 yds away after some deliberation.(its on video, somewhere)

Hey thanks for asking. Everything has really started to loosen up in the last two weeks. I'm now 2 months and 5 days.

But you know if you have had this done it is a long road back to pain free and full range of motion. Glad it is behind me now.

Why has everyone deserted this site.? Ive been on Rivals and most are envious of Texas over there. i was surprised most of the the of DJ make believe world over there. But you know most of us dont have anything better to do since our playing days are long gone.. :)

Glad you are improving.

Yes Rivals has taken all the posters from the national football boards, Yappi in OH is now deserted also.
Too bad, with Rivals having it's own poll it's not as open a forum as I'd like.
If you have kids playing it's not so bad but if not it's just memories. I am not looking foward to that!
