they got beat and beat theirselves last night 38-15 to FW All Saints for homecoming. had something like 4 t/o's in the 1st qt. 2 resulted in td's 1 a fg and were down 24-0 in the first. they were w/o their starting qb and best o-lineman, he's like 6'5'' 280# powerfull and fleet a foot. and their best rb has a broke hand and looked like he hurt a foot or ankle late in the game. Allsaints is much better than last year i thought they looked good. and this is not the unique team the Lions had last year this was not a district game they'll get it together.

So, the Stephenville Yellow Jackets drop down to 3a, and it is only a sixty mile drive and the "mighty" Brownwood Lions dont schedule them? Not only that, Brownwood is placed in a district of cupcakes with the exception of Liberty Hill...which they should beat...YAWN...what a joke. go ahead and give them the championship now. RIDICULOUS!!!

As a football fan i am disappointed that the Lions and Jackets will not play each other next year.

The Aggies in Brownwood followed their Allah in College Station by not wanting to play their rivals.

You guys have no real knowledge about why Brownwood and Stephenville did not play. The main reason is that there is a good chance the two teams will meet in the first round of the playoffs. There are other reasons as well but I will not bring those up.

Brownwood is 3rd largest in district. We can only meet in the playoffs if neither Lampasas nor Burnet make the playoffs. Not very likely, But I'm pulling for it...
