And if he wants to break out stats, and talk about championships, I'd LOVE for him to. Because, based on my stats, we own the series 38-14 vs teams with "Waco" in their name (73.077%). But even if you want to compare Waco High vs Ennis, the series is EVEN. And we have more state titles than they do.
WACO the poster came on here last time, and got all cocky about how they were going to dominate in 4A, and yet have absolutely NOTHING to show for it.
So, not sure what his issue is, but I'm sure if Waco ends up in the same district with Ennis, we'll have to put up with his antics all season.
I guess he expects us to be scared, or something.
Eh, I guess he thinks his Waco team is gonna walk all over us again.
But I digress.
I should have just said "So Whaaaaaat..." or "Who caaaaaares..."
Although I do think it's funny he's already looking forward to a game that may not even happen (district realignments being what they are) when THIS season isn't even over yet.

We may have had a couple of down years, but the E-train is getting stoked up and will be back.
Soon....very soon!

Have you ever heard the expression moving the goalposts? Moving the goalposts is an expression for when people are losing an argument, and so bring up a slightly different topic, modified version of their topic, or excuse in order to not lose an argument or to justify their previous argument to avoid losing the argument.
So, in other words, when stealthfighter mentioned the beatdown that Ennis put on Waxahachie last year, you "moved the goalposts" by saying "...but we weren't very good", thus downplaying the loss. Well guess what...Ennis wasn't very good last year, either.

We should have a really good shot at returning back to state since 2006. Our running back is about to break the 2,000 yard mark this year and is on track to break the Waco city rushing record.
And? Aledo has a RB that could possibly break the career national rushing record.
Our offense is not even the same and if you think we were lethal in the past in that old school offense..... you should see the offense now.
And what if I don't? Didn't you pull these same arguments out a couple of years ago? Did you brag like this on the 8-4A boards, too? I'd really, seriously like for you to admit that 4A isn't the cakewalk you thought it would be (because you did).
I know Ennis is not having a good season... but, you can always come out and watch us. lol
Why would I want to do that?
And you ARE aware that this is the first season for a new coach and a new system in Ennis, right? Or did you not know that?
But seriously...you were on this message board several years ago running your mouth, and now you're back, and all the time you've been in 4A, you've got JACK SQUAT to show for it. I don't care how "lethal" your offense is, or how good you're supposed to be. You know as well as I do that stats get thrown out the window in the playoffs. Or do I need to remind you, yet again, of the 4 OT game?

Hachie will win by 3 or 4 touchdowns, have our 2nd and 3rd string in and Ennis fans will leave at halftime like they did 2 years ago.

LOL...you Ennis fans have selective memory - only want to remember your wins over Hachie and will not acknowledge ours over little Ennis. Ya'll are not even our rivals anymore. You can't even make the playoffs...for what like the 3rd straight year now....bwhahaha
Hachie will win by 3 or 4 touchdowns, have our 2nd and 3rd string in and Ennis fans will leave at halftime like they did 2 years ago.
Fact: Last year, your Indians needed to beat a team that, in your words, "can't even make the playoffs", and you couldn't even do that. It was a beatdown that kept you OUT of the playoffs.
And yeah, we've had a couple of down seasons. So?
And you know, I could have very well said that you guys weren't our rivals anymore when we reeled off something like 11 straight victories.
Oh, and don't count your chickens before they hatch...

Let's not forget that Ennis took their lumps in the 90's too! When we ran off ten in row! Got your back Mean !!
Thanks Hurt, Ennis fans don't remember when we won 10 straight - they get amnesia when it comes to any losses they have against Waxahachie. And anytime they lose an arguement they say "well at least we have more titles than you do". Well at least we we have a solid football program most years not once every 20 years like they have in Ennis. See ya boys tonight!
