The booster club does a lot for Ennis sports. They help fund the EnnisFootball.com web site, help with football in several ways 7th thru varsity. The only booster club that helps the cheerleaders and many other sports @ EHS other than just football. What I do not understand is in the lack of participation from ex -players and the families of present players. You go to a meeting and most of the time there is no one there but the officers. You have the same people footing the bill year after year. There are several different level of memberships and every dollar raised goes right back into the program. We need people to step up and get on board, join the Lionbackers, get involved, be willing to help in any way you can. Get in touch with Brick and let him know you want to be a part of the booster club and lets all help RESTORE THE ROAR.

I don t get to attend meetings but I put in the money and I am a member of the Lionbackers. I believe it is important for us to do what we can.

Excellent post Bad blood. It does seem to be the same faces, and checkbooks, each year that step forward. We appreciate each and everyone of those supporters, but we NEED many more to keep advancing the programs that we help, boys and girls. Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Soccer, Track, Cheerleading, Swimming (when we have a team), Cross Country, Softball have all been helped by the Lionbackers Booster Club. So, please help when you can with what you can. If you have a kid in athletics @ EHS, get involved and you will make a difference in the life of a youngster. I can tell you - that in itself is a greatly rewarding experience. Feel free to contact me if you can help or want to join the Lionbackers Club and I will put you in contact woth those who can sign you up or help you find a way to help. Anyone wanting to advertise on the website www.EnnisFootball.com , all of those funds will go to the Lionbackers as well. Thanks!
