The 2 best teams from 13-4A and 14-4A advanced asexpected. Good luck to all 4 !!
great Job to Texas High for holding JT for 3 quarters. JT was just to much at the end.

JT's QB is some kind of talent. I will have to admit I am always a little skeptical of a team that relies so much on 1 player. Hopefully he will carry them all the way though

I agree. The fumbled punt was the fuse for the 4th qt blowout, but JT was clearly the better team. I'm just sorry the game got out of hand so quickly. Texas High had played about as good as they could up to 4th quarter. JT's QB is some kind of talent. I will have to admit I am always a little skeptical of a team that relies so much on 1 player. Hopefully he will carry them all the way though
JT does relies on him, but at times he tries to do to much, and he needs to put the ball in the hands of the other good players around him.

John Tyler has a very stong Junior class, with a sprinkle of Sophmores. So next yr (on paper) seems like it should be another strong yr for cujo.
They will probably start the season ranked in the top 5. Honestly I would not be shocked if they are pre-season #1

If JT can return a defense they certainly can contend for a title. It was only a matter of time before lack of defense got them this year, but they are a very young team & will be even tougher next year. Defense is all that's holding this team back. Easily the class of 4A anywhere in Northeast Texas.
most of the guys liking Defense for JT this had never liked defense before, so it was learn on the job type of thing.
