And it can be proven mathematically...

Over the course of the 65 games I found on record, Ennis has scored a total of 1398 points and given up 1071 versus Hachie. That's a margin of +327 for Ennis. It also means that in the course of the series, Ennis has scored 56.62% of the points in the series.

Over that span, Ennis has averaged 21.508 points per game, while Hachie has averaged 16.477.

That's a 5.031 point average difference.

Now it gets really fun.

Ennis has 41 total wins in the series, and 23 losses (there was 1 tie). This is a win % for Ennis of .631.

In the 41 wins, Ennis has scored a total of 1146 points. That averages out to 27.951 points per win.
Conversely, in the 23 losses, Ennis only scored 252 points. That averages out to 10.957 points per loss.

In the 41 wins, Ennis has allowed (i.e. given up) 388 points. This is an average of 9.463 points per game.
In the 23 losses, Ennis has allowed 683 points, averaging 16.659 points per game.

Ennis' average margin of victory in the 41 wins is 18.488 points.
Ennis' average margin of loss in the 23 losses is -5.702 (Hachie's margin of victory would be 5.702 points).

I'd do Hachie's, but I think the above numbers speak for themselves. Might do it later, though, just to fully illustrate.

Which means that in victories, Ennis is still 12.786 points BETTER per victory.
