What is that hanging off the Longhorn's horn?
Is it a FEATHER?
What's that thing?

They're antennas for for the Texas Longhorn Network; since they're the only ones watching it.

Baloney. I am asking what is the addition to the Longhorn Logo.
It appears to be a feather which is attatched to the LEFT HORN.

I'd ask you to post a picture, but I guess that is out of the question.

Super B, I have looked for a picture but not yet found one.

I have 20-20 vision and this past season I have seen what appears
to be something hanging off of the left horn. At first I thought it may be
a peeling logo, but I saw it on seberal player's helmets. I am asking if anyone knows the significance of this addition.
I just sent an email to the UT Sports Info Director asking the same question. Later.

I don't know if I noticed it...

on another note I don't see the big deal about longhorns network. I think it is a great idea, but too many people are whining and putting limitations on it. I can't even access it here. oh well, if that's all we had to do to get rid of the aggies then it was well worth it. hopefully they will re-locate their campus soon too.

Errr.... It's not a feather. It's a ventilation slot cut into the helmet.

Do you know that for sure OR are you guessing?

Isn't it strange that your "ventilation cut starts exactly on the tip of

a horn? Also any cuts made in/on a helmet would render any manufactuer's

guarentee void.

Just guessing. Here's my next guess. Paint transfer from an opponents helmet.
