I figure I'll just talk to myself (and any other people interested in being serious) over here - and only use the other board for calling people idiots, and correcting their bs.

With that said, I look forward to any engaging conversations here, with myself, as I know I will not be surrounded by fools since it appears to just be me on this empty board.

Apparently you're a person of few words since your conversation with yourself seems to be lacking in ...errr....conversation. :console:

When the season starts up again, I'd prefer to discuss the big games over here at least.

The other board turns into a Bosco thread, or a "DLS is still #1," thread in seconds...it'd be a great board if it weren't for the awful posters...but the posters are awful.

I'm all for bringing this board back to life.

I know what you mean. I too have been gone for a while and was surprised to see how ghostly this board seems to be now. I just assume everyone is like me and can't function normally without hs, college or pro football.

- It became a ghost town because a lot of us went over to another board (mainly just to put a stop to tons of lies and bs put out by posters that aren't interested in talking about football - these are known as Don Bosco fans) and the others here sort of followed, and we all forgot to come back here, I guess.

- I think unbanning cajun would be a fine. We've all found common ground in completely agreeing that Bosco/DLS posters are idiots, so I doubt he'll go on another epic internet flip out again; if he decides to, it'd be on the other board lol.

Not my call. If I banned someone myself, I'd consider unbanning them. I'll inquire though.

Finally joined this board....should be quite a few national level games this season so this place should see some action from those (me) looking to get away from some of the foolishness on another board.

Tell me what I should expect to see out of Miami Central.....are they going to bring enough to beat Defending state champ Grayson in GA? Do they have a vertical passing game?

Why don't you describe to me what the problems with those people are so I can keep an eye on them if they show up.

Honestly, too early to tell.

They're probably going to end up with 10+ kids transferring into the program this summer, of those, I'd say 2-3 will be D1 level kids already holding offers. - But even that isn't for sure, as Booker T, Norland, and Miramar will see kinds transfer to them too.

As they stand right now, Central will be pretty good. They have 2 for sure D1 running backs on the roster right now that are both only going into their junior year, their 3rd back is good enough to play college ball somewhere. They have what looks to be a solid secondary too.

They have a history of being a vertical team as they sent 3 straight QB's to D1 n a row, from 05-10 (to Akron, UCF, and Marshall). Last year, they had a game manager at QB though, he was decent, but they lacked the capability for the very deep strike that the previous QB's gave them. They used to be able to throw the ball 50-60 yards in the air on any given play for a TD, last year they couldn't, and probably won't be able to next year either (unless there's a transfer, or a kid comes out of nowhere to play great).

Their running game is very explosive though. One hole opens on a cutback and it's going 40+ yards easily. - They'll likely use a trips bunch formation, or a 4 wide set with a single back using double slot WR's. They'll either use that to string the D out a bit then run from it, or they'll use short passes sine they don't have a deep strike QB (it seems). - While it looks like a spread O to anyone that hasn't seen Central a lot, it's not "the" Central O that they won their title with (with Rakeem Cato at QB, now starting QB at Marshall), or used when they had Jeff Godfrey (the previous 3 years - went to UF but now planning on transferring after starting their as a frosh).

You'll see.

Instead of a good discussion, based on good info and observation, it'll be outright homer garbage.

Any posters that come here will be from the Rivals board, and you know what the problems are over there. Shoot on over to that board and read any thread with a ton of replies and you'll see what I mean. - It's not like most posters do anything that would get them banned here, because many don't, but many more threads become homered out pissing contests over there than there should be.
