BRIXEY RESIGNS AT COMANCHE.

"Comanche football coach/athletic director Jeryl Brixey resigned from his position Monday through a mutual agreement with Comanche ISD, effective today.

Brixey posted a 17-35 record in five seasons with the Class 2A Indians, including a 9-3 season in 2009 — the best record the program had posted since 2000. It was, however, his only winning campaign at Comanche, which included an 0-10 mark at the Class 3A level in his first season.

"I wish Coach Brixey the best of success in his future endeavors and thank him for his time in the district," Comanche ISD Superintendent Tony Daniel said."
