Six quarterbacks from the state will be in the Elite 11 Finals.

Zach Allen, Temple (Syracuse) Elite Ranking 43
J.T. Barrett, Wichita Falls Rider (Ohio State) Elite Ranking 13
DeVante Kincade, Dallas Skyline (uncommitted) Elite Ranking 28
Tryone Swoopes, Whitewright (Texas) Elite Ranking 6

First thoughts: Few surprises on the list but overall 6 is a good number.

Surprise name: Zach Allen: He is a great kid but I thought there was a few better that could of got invited.

Biggest snub: Kenny Hill, Southlake Carroll. He was in the final group at the Dallas competition so was kinda shocked to see him not invited however he has not thrown much since the Elite 11 a few months ago since he had baseball.

Overall impression: The list of all the names in general has a lot of kids who have a bunch of upside. Trent is going out of the box trying to find the QB nobody is talking about.

Zach just doesn't have some of the hype others do, but can hold his own.Trent said on the elite 11 selection show that he noticed zach right off the bat. He was tony romo's favorite QB at the camp.

Yeah I slept on it a few days and am changing my mind to Davis Webb as the surprise. I am a Zach Allen to most underrated QB in nation. He will get more views from schools but Syracuse is getting a steal of a QB.
